**Summer Reading List** {5.5.2021}

If you guys know me at all, you know that in the summer, I am reading as much as possible. Especially if I’m at the beach. I love the books that have to do with beaches or beach towns. They just make me so happy. 🙂

So, today, I’m sharing with you some books that are on my to-read list for this summer. And if you have some you think I should add, please tell me!

Some of these books are already on the shelves. However, some of the books are coming out in the next few weeks or next month.

Since I have not read these books, the description will be directly from the author. I mean, who better to write what the book is about. 😉

I have read a lot of Kristy Woodson Harvey novels. I always love them. They’re easy, light reads and the best for reading in the summer by the pool, at the beach or just lounging around.

I always grab Mary Kay Andrews newest novel around May. That’s usually when it comes out. This one just came out yesterday, and I’m really excited to dive right in. 😉

Newcomer

I love any book that takes place on Nantucket. It just seems like the neatest town. I hope to visit there someday. It’s on my bucket list. 😉 I always enjoy reading Nancy Thayer’s books and can’t wait to read this one.

Family Reunion

I enjoyed Emily Henry’s Beach Read last summer, so I’m excited to read her newest novel.

Poppy and Alex. Alex and Poppy. They have nothing in common. She’s a wild child; he wears khakis. She has insatiable wanderlust; he prefers to stay home with a book. And somehow, ever since a fateful car share home from college many years ago, they are the very best of friends. People We Meet on Vacation

My favorite author that I always migrate to is Elin Hilderbrand. She is just my people. I love everything she writes. So, I’m definitely anticipating her newest novel, Golden Girl.

On a perfect June day, Vivian Howe, author of thirteen beach novels and mother of three nearly grown children, is killed in a hit-and-run car accident while jogging near her home on Nantucket. She ascends to the Beyond where she’s assigned to a Person named Martha, who allows Vivi to watch what happens below for one last summer. Vivi also is granted three “nudges” to change the outcome of events on earth, and with her daughter Willa on her third miscarriage, Carson partying until all hours, and Leo currently “off again” with his high-maintenance girlfriend, she’ll have to think carefully where to use them.

And here’s a little throwback to when I met Elin. This was pre-Covid. 🙂

I enjoy reading Jennifer Weiner’s books. I haven’t read one in a few years, but I am hoping to maybe have time to read this one.

Daisy Shoemaker can’t sleep. With a thriving cooking business, full schedule of volunteer work, and a beautiful home in the Philadelphia suburbs, she should be content. This book I read a few months back. It was so super cute! I would recommend it for anyone. It was a little predictable, but I still really enjoyed it. 🙂
