**Hello Monday** {8.19.2024}

Hey Hey friends! We are back to Monday already.

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday evening, we got home from school and left pretty quickly to go grab a bite to eat. Before dinner, I ran by the shoe store to look for some new sneakers. I loved these!

Saturday morning, Joey and Addison were up and ready to run the CFA 5k.

They left about 7 in the morning. I opted to stay home, drink my coffee and get some cleaning done.

They met up with Colin & Blaine.

Joey said she did good, but she needs to do some more training. Haha!

While they were gone, I cleaned the bathrooms, shampoo’d the upstairs hallway and living room rug, made my breakfast sausage muffins for the week.

About the time I finished all that, they were back home.

I went outside and started pulling weeds from the flower beds. It’s amazing how quickly they return. Addison helped me take them to the woods.

That evening we headed out to dinner. I was craving some Texas Roadhouse rolls. 🙂

After dinner, we ran in Academy and got a few things.

On the way home, we ran into a crazy storm. The wind was wild. It even hailed on us a bit. There was a tree down on our drive home, but we were able to get around it. We haven’t had rain in weeks. While we need the rain, I don’t like the storms.

One of Addison’s Disney shirts has arrived for our trip in September.

Then we played some games.

Sunday morning, we had a relaxing morning.

Then we decided to go on a little nature hike.

We realized not long into the walk that Addison did not choose the right shoes to wear. She kept slipping and falling with no tread on the bottom.

It was humid!

After leaving to get back in our car, I said I need to stop at a few shops for some errands.

I saw this image later, and it made me giggle.

Milo must have been exhausted from our hike. This was him last night at Mom & Dads… 😉

That’s it for our weekend! I hope you have a great start to your week!
