Friday morning, we started off bright and early. We had to be at school by 6:30, so we were snapping pictures early.
Got her teachers some gift cards to kick off the year.
I can’t believe our little girl is going into 3rd grade!
We snapped a few outside too.
The A team ready for day one.
They had some cute balloon art up, so we snapped some pictures there too.
Ready to go!
Thankful for sweet friends.
Her homeroom teacher and Math teacher! It’s going to be a great year!
I snapped some pics with my sweet friends too!
I checked in at lunch, and they were all smiles! This is a great group.
Friday night, we were all exhausted. Joey and I started watching Leanne on Netflix. It was cute! We laughed out loud a few times.
Then, we started Amy Bradley was Missing. We started it a little too late because I fell asleep. Oops… I just couldn’t keep my eyes open.
Saturday, Joey had early morning workout with the guys then headed to Mom & Dad’s house to work on their back deck.
Meanwhile, I did laundry, cleaned bathrooms, organized/tidied up and mopped the floor. I also did some meal prepping for the week.
We left the house about 2 and grabbed an iced coffee.
We headed on over to the Avalon to get her ears pierced… Hopefully Round 2 will stay well. She got them done in November, and they stayed fine for a while. Around March one started getting infected, and I couldn’t get it to heal and had to take it out. 🙁
She was an excited girl!
We walked around and did a bit of shopping.
Then we headed to the Lazy Dog café for dinner.
Yesterday, we were going to go to church, but the weather was rainy and cool. So, we decided to just hang at home and have a lazy movie day. It was great!
We did run to Target and Aldi for a few things.
Then we ate dinner at Mom & Dad’s house. She made a delicious meal of Chicken casserole, brussels sprouts, corn and white navy beans.
That wraps our weekend! What were you up to?
See ya back on Wednesday!! Have a great week!
