Today I’m sharing the rest of our vacation to the Dominican Republic for my birthday!

I’m picking up right where I left off on Wednesday morning. This was actually my Birthday!!
I woke up and snuck out on the balcony on my birthday morning. I thoroughly enjoyed the quiet time.
I finished The Love Haters while we were down there, and it was good! I loved it! The characters were hilarious, and I loved the story. If you haven’t read it, I recommend it!
Once Joey and Addison were up, we headed first to the coffee shop. I grabbed an iced coffee. Then we headed to the open air buffet for breakfast. There were lots of stations including omelet, fresh fruit, fresh pastries, waffles/pancakes station, traditional breakfast items, and Dominican food. Great start to the day!

Once we were back in the room, we got our swimwear on and our bags packed for a day in the sun. We started by heading to the beach. It was gorgeous! The water was very calm and barely any seaweed.

We hung out at the beach for a while, grabbed some nachos at the beach grill. I forgot to get a picture.
After lunch, we decided to head over to the water park. So fun! I did risk it and go down the yellow slide. Addison and Joey went down all the slides.
This is 40. Can’t believe it’s already here. I am very blessed with my faith, my family, my friends and so much more.
We hung out at the park for a while then headed back to the room to get ready.

We ate at the Coastal restaurant. We all had delicious food and drinks.
The sun set early down there. Everything starts shutting down around 6, as far as pools and water park.
After dinner, we went to the amphitheater for some entertainment. Addison jumped in on the fun.
The theme this night was From the Ocean. It was good, but Addison was struggling staying awake. We all were really. So we headed back to the room after a few of the songs.
That ends my Birthday! I will be back another day for the last few days of our trip!
