Happy Wednesday friends!! How’s your week going? Mine is coming in like a wrecking ball. And from the looks of the upcoming week’s weather, I’m worried it’s going to get ugly this weekend.
Anywho, I’m here today sharing about our Nashville getaway. We went right after New Year’s day for the weekend. We had such a fun time!
We headed up early that Friday morning. Upon arrival, we headed straight for the replica of the Parthenon. It was so neat! And so massive! The detail is amazing!
Vandy’s stadium is very close!
Thankfully, the rain held off, and we were able to walk around. It was a little chilly, but not too bad.
After leaving, we headed toward downtown Broadway to walk around.
We snapped a pic of the Ryman during the day. We had tickets for there the next night.
We loved looking at all the boots and hats. 😉
Had to get a pic with Elvis.
And Bridgestone Arena.
We snapped pics at all the different bar areas.
My favorite being Miranda Lamberts. We ate lunch there the last time I visited Nashville.
After walking around outside, we headed over to Opry Mills to walk around some shops inside.
It was a little weird. I feel like I haven’t walked around in an inside mall in years!
We ate an early dinner at Caney Fork River Valley Grille, near Opry Mills. It was different, but fun. It had a lot of wild game on the menu, as well as normal food. The men were intrigued!
We wanted to get back to the hotel, so Addison could have some time to swim. This was really our only available time. She loved it of course.
The next day, we were busy! So, I’ll share a recap of that day in another post. It will be long!
Thanks for popping by! See ya back on Friday!
