Happy Wednesday!
We had a whirlwind of a weekend! This is always one of my favorite weekends, but also one of the most exhausting. Addison was in 4 shows this past weekend. The theme was so fun, and the dancers were phenomenal!
We were at the theater about 11:30 Saturday morning.
We snapped some pics of the girls before show 1 started on Saturday.
For show 1, I signed up to volunteer in the littles room. They were all adorable, and it was fun trying to keep them occupied during the show.
I snapped some pics of my girl backstage.
And I got a pic of Sutton singing on stage.
Joey & I watched show 2 on Saturday!
Sutton did amazing singing in some of the numbers.
Then it was Addison’s turn. Her group performed in the emotion Joy part. She’s in the Pre Pro Performance group. It’s a little bit of dancing and a little bit of singing/performing/drama combined.
Our sweet cousin Emerson & Isla did so good!
I tried to snap this pic of all the main emotions, but it was dark and hard to see them clearly.
Addison also had a tap number for the emotion envy.
Her ballet dance was also in the Envy part.
Then it was time for bows.
After the show, we snapped some pics of A’s sweet grandparents who came to cheer on our dancer!
We were taking Sutton home with us. After we got changed, we headed to eat at Marietta Diner. It’s a tradition.
While we waited, the girls wanted to make up another dance. Haha!
These 2 cuties deserved a milkshake for their hard work.
And, we got home about 10:00 Saturday night.
Sunday morning, we were up early and getting ready for another full day of dance.
Sutton came over early to ride with us down. They begged and begged to get in the pool. I finally gave in and said only feet.
We went to the 1:00 show.
We had to be back at the theater at 11:30 Sunday morning.
Addison and the girls did another great performance. You could tell they were really into it.
And, after the show, we got pictures with family that came to support our girl.
She had another 5:00 show that we did not watch. Joey and I stayed out in the lobby and also ran some errands.
It was another late night, but so many core memories were made!
I’ll see you guys back on Friday!
