**Thanksgiving Break Recap** {11.30.2020}

Wow! I can’t believe our Thanksgiving week is over… it definitely flew by!

Now, we are on the countdown to Christmas break! We have so much fun jam-packed into these next 3 weeks. Let’s get this party started!

I started the break with a little girl’s trip to Asheville. We had so much fun! When I got back home, I had a lot of things I had to get accomplished. This little sidekick was glad to tag along. And I’m so thankful for her! 🙂

After Joey got off work around lunch on Wednesday, we headed out towards Pigeon Forge for a little family trip.

Thanksgiving day was very low-key. It was just the three of us. We spent most of the day outside and exploring.

Since it was just the three of us, we just ordered out two Thanksgiving meals from a place in town. I cooked Addison some mac-n-cheese with some chicken tenders. You know, the traditional meal. Ha!

That night, we settled in for some quality Home Alone. #thebest #Kevin

Friday, we had plans to visit Dollywood. We had so much fun, and it definitely felt clean and safe. They took all temperatures before entering the park.

The park did feel clean. The only downfall was we had to wait longer on rides and for the shows. They did extra sanitizing and skipped seats between parties/families. So, it was limited for how many people rode the rides and were allowed in the theaters. Of course, everyone was mandated to wear masks.

I was surprised she wanted to ride this one. It went up pretty high. She loved it and laughed the whole time.

We rode the train. There was plastic between every row and only families/parties were allowed to sit together.

We made it in time to catch a show.

The lights are always my favorite part.

Saturday, we rode over to my Dad’s hometown to visit with some people for the day. This moon was a beautiful sight.

When we got back to camp, we settled in to watch Elf.

We got back home around 2 yesterday, and we were busy bees… All the laundry, unloading, unpacking, grocery store run, getting things ready for the week, bath time, lunches packed….. Then, finally settling in for Virgin River Season 2 for our little date night. 😉

Happy Monday, friends!
