Hello Monday Weekend Recap

**Hello Monday** {7.13.2026}

Hello Friends! Well, we have flown through another weekend. Seriously, once July 4th hits, Summer vacation is pretty much over.

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday night, we took Joey’s Dad out for his birthday. Sadly, I forgot to document any of it.

Saturday morning, Joey went to do some volunteer work. Addison and I worked on downsizing, organizing, and throwing out a bunch.

We went outside for a few minutes to take a break, and this look is how she felt about helping me. Hahahaha!

Saturday evening, my parents took me out to dinner for my birthday.

We had lots of fun with our chef; lots of laughs and…..

Addison was both intrigued and scared. Haha!

Enjoying her sherbet.

Thank you Dad & Mom!

Sunday morning, we woke up to rain. So, it was nice having a slow, easy morning and doing a little bit of sleeping in.

I’ve almost got the upstairs back in order… at least one of the rooms & closets.

We ate at Dad & Mom’s house for dinner last night.

My cousin, Patricia, sent Addison a jewelry box.

I got the BEST Shampoo & Conditioner for my birthday! It’s pricey but oh so good!

Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo / Oribe Gold Lust Conditioner

And… I had a favorite order arrive with a few of my favorite things to restock. Colleen Rothschild for the win!

Dual Enzyme Polish (exfoliator)/ Radiant Cleansing Balm / Quench & Shine Shampoo / Ethereal Glow Serum

And that’s a wrap on our weekend! What were you up to?

I hope you have a fantastic week! We are going to try to keep making the most of every day.

I’ll be back here on Wednesday!

  1. Happy Happy Birthday Ali! You look beautiful in that dinner dress! I love it! Hope you were spoiled all weekend 🙂

    1. Thank you, Holly!! 🙂

  2. Happy birthday! I’ve always wanted to try a restaurant like that. Do you feel the heat of the flames though???

    1. Thank you!! The heat from the flames can be a bit intense for a few seconds. I always scoot back when they are about to make a big flame. During regular cooking, it is not a problem.
