**What’s Up Wednesday** {3.25.2020}

It’s the last Wednesday of the month. On this day, I link up with the blogs Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I will share a little bit of everything that’s been going on with us lately. And this has been an interesting month for sure.

1. What We Are Eating This Week:

Sunday: Grilled Steak, Baked Sweet Potato, Asparagus, No-Bake Blueberry Cheesecake

Monday: Potato Soup, Grilled Ham/Cheese sandwiches

Tuesday: Salmon, Lima Beans, Mac-n-cheese

Wednesday: Pork Loin, Rice, Air Fryer Zucchini I don’t add Rosemary in mine

Thursday: Leftover Salmon

Friday: Leftover Pork Loin

Saturday: I hope we will be picking up from somewhere. I’m tired of cooking.

2. What I’m Reminiscing About:

These memories popped up from 2 years ago…. Such good memories!!

Look at this sweet memory from Easter 2 years ago.

3. What I’m Loving:

With working at home and doing lots of Digital Learning and online meetings/phone calls, I’m definitely loving Disney+.  It keeps Addison somewhat entertained. I am loving getting to spend my days with her and getting to enjoy my coffee at home from the comfort of our home.

4. What We’ve Been Up To:

We have been doing a lot of staying at home. #practicesocialdistancing

We have also been doing a lot of singing, reading, and cooking/baking/eating. 😉

When the weather participates we have been enjoying being outdoors. We went hiking on Saturday and loved that.

5. What I’m Dreading:

I’m dreading anyone else getting sick from this awful virus. 🙁

I’m also really sad because we are probably about to call and cancel/hopefully reschedule our Spring Break trip. We had been so looking forward to it.

6. What I’m Working On:

I’m working on school work/digital learning lessons.

7. What I’m Excited About:

I was going to say that I am excited about our upcoming Spring Break trip, but as you saw above… we are planning to cancel. 🙁

I am excited about Easter coming up. I’m sure we won’t be having traditional egg hunts/gatherings and things though. 🙁

8. What I’m Watching/Reading:

We have been watching classic movies on Disney +. I’m talking “Three Men & a Baby/Little Lady” and “Cheaper by the Dozen”. It’s been great!

I’m still watching “This is Us”

I’ve still been following “Grey’s Anatomy” even though I’m very upset about Alex leaving. I literally bawled through the entire episode.

I finally finished The Other Woman. It took a LONG time for me to get through. At times, it was painful trying to get myself to keep reading, but I did. I’d say the last 50 pages were the best. It definitely had a shocking ending. I probably wouldn’t recommend you read this unless you just have a lot of time on your hands. Which, as of right now, some of us do. #quarantined

I just started reading Sweet Tea and Sympathy. So far, it’s really cute. I’m enjoying, it and it’s an easy read.

9. What I’m Listening To:

I have been listening to a lot of singing/screaming from Addison lately. haha! She loves to sing “Let It Go”. It’s constantly on repeat around here.

10. What I’m Wearing:

Well, I’ve been wearing a lot of sweats/lounge wear. I’ve also been throwing in some stretchy Wit & Wisdom jeans to “dress” myself up a little. 😉 Here are some things I’ve bought lately.

I ordered these sunglasses from Nordstrom. At $25, I’m very happy with them.

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:

Well, I’m sure we will still be practicing social distancing. Hopefully the weather will be nice, and we can get outside. We will be glad to have Joey home for a few days.

12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:

I’m looking forward to Easter.

Hopefully, we will all be looking for less sickness and this awful virus to be over.

13. What Else is New:

I was upset about the storyline behind Alex leaving… it felt pretty disjointed and thrown together for me. But we’re still watching Grey’s too; I feel like I just can’t stop now. But feel like they must be nearing the end of the series…

Yes, I thought it was thrown together too. I wish they would have brought back Lizzie. I am, like you, I just can’t stop. Thanks for the comment! Enjoy your day!! 🙂

I’m late in catching up with my WUW reading.

We got Season 3 of Grey’s out of the library before it closed but we haven’t watched anything. I’m fairly behind in the series as you can tell!

And we got Disney+ because of quarantine and we are loving it!
