**Weekend Recap** {5.4.2020}

Happy Monday!! Last official week of school. The next two weeks are just set aside for remediation. So, let’s do this thing!

We enjoyed our little weekend getaway camping and practicing lots of social distancing. It was so great to see a different scenery other than our house’s four walls.

Joey ended up taking a half day on Friday, so we got up there about 3. This was taken right after we pulled into check-in.

We set up really quickly so we could get our fun weekend started. There were hardly any people up there. The ones that were up there stayed far away. It was great, and perfect camping weather!

We had lots of Jeep rides.

Went on lots of walks. The mountain in the background is actually Brasstown Bald, the tallest point in Georgia.

We did some fishing… mostly Joey. 😉

I read and relaxed by the creek. It was very peaceful.

Addison played in the rocks. Then her and Joey braved the ice cold creek.

We ate lots of food and even took a trip to town for some DQ ice cream. 😉

We lounged out on the couch Saturday night. with our Kindles

Sunday morning, we got ready and packed up. These three ducks flew into the creek to tell us bye.

We had the best little trip. Beautiful weather and great company!! Hopefully, we will get to go camping again in June. Fingers crossed.

Sunday evening, we were busy unpacking, lots of laundry and straightening up. We had a little time to get our bathing suits on and head outside for some sunshine and playtime in the water table. 🙂

Thank you so much for reading! Have a great day!! :

xoxo
