**Master Bedroom Update** {7.8.2020}

Well, I’m back…. I took a few days off to enjoy a short little getaway with my family. We had the best time at the beach. I’ll do a little recap on Friday. So, let’s jump into today’s post….

A few months back, I decided I wanted to redo our master bedroom. When we got married, we kept my bedroom furniture. It had a Queen sized bed. We endured the queen through 7 years of marriage and 1 pregnancy… Well, I told Joey in January, that it was time.

I can’t find a full picture of my bed on my phone… I know I used to have one somewhere, but at the moment I can’t locate it. So, here are just a few snippets. One with my sweet Pippa. The furniture is a dark cherry and the comforter was a dark brown. I wanted something lighter.

I loved my bedroom furniture set, but unfortunately they didn’t make it anymore. #antique

We decided just to get the bed and hope it would match. We looked a few places and finally decided on one from Ashley furniture. This one.

Joey always complains about ALL the pillows. Well, he knows just to get over it because I love them all!! 😉

I went with this comforter from Target. Currently, I have it folded at my feet. During the Winter and cooler months, I pull it up. It will definitely keep you warm. I get hot during the night with it and end up having to kick it off. It’s very good quality.

My Quilt is from Pottery Barn. It’s the Classic Ivory. Love it so much!

I got the side lamps at Hobby Lobby.

I ordered these pillows from Amazon. They were a great price and with almost 10,000 4+ reviews, I figured I didn’t have much to lose. We have really liked them!

I couldn’t find my exact Love pillow, but this one is by the same company. Also shipped from Amazon. I didn’t realize that it was just the pillow cover, so I had to order this pillow to go inside. 😉 Ha! It was a perfect fit!

The other pillow, I got at a little store near us called Southern with Grace. It’s the cutest little store and is owned by the sweetest couple. You should definitely check it out! If you’re local, they’re in Cartersville. I just love it all!

All in all, I’m happy with how it turned out. It definitely lightened up the room. I love that it’s all neutral soft colors. I am still on the search for something new to go above the bed. Anyone have any recommendations, send them my way! 😉

See you back here on Friday for some Favorites. I will also be recapping our short little getaway. 🙂

xoxo
