**Hello Monday** {12.20.2021}

Happy Monday! We are on Day 1 of Christmas break and super excited to rest, rejuvenate, and squeeze in lots of daily fun too.

Today, I’m doing a recap of our weekend.

Friday night, she wanted to have a sleepover in our bedroom. I walked in to see this, on my way to bed. Sweet girl.

I made these Red Velvet Cheesecake Bars for Joey’s Dad’s Christmas. They were very tasty and festive too.

Saturday morning, I did the usual, laundry and cleaning. Joey had to go work on a job. Addison and I ran to town to do some last minute shopping.

When we all got back home, we decided to work on decorating the Gingerbread house. It was a very rainy and yucky day.

We got ready for Joey’s Dad’s Christmas that evening.

Christy had put out little, wooden ornaments for the girls to decorate. It was very sweet.

We had a delicious dinner which consisted of a pasta bar from Olive Garden and lots of different desserts.

Then, it was time for presents.

They had gotten all the girl’s silly string. So, they had a silly string fight. Oh, how funny and messy.

A great time was had by all.

We left there and headed to one of my coworker’s Christmas party. We laughed so hard my stomach and cheeks were hurting. Love these friends.

Sunday, we just took it easy. I did some organizing, trying to prepare for the overload of more toys.

We went to dinner, to celebrate Joey’s sister Emma and our Sister n’ law, Autumn.

We got home and Addison wanted us to open our gifts from her, from school. They are just so precious. Makes me so thankful for her sweet, little school.

That wraps up our weekend. We watched Yellowstone and the new show, 1883. I settled in for some reading on the Kindle. Excited to have time to read this week. I hope you guys have a wonderful week!
