**Hello Monday** MB Vacation Part I {6.27.2022}

Well, Hello Everybody! I’m back after taking a week off. It was wonderful relaxing and spending time with my family, but I’m happy to be back!

I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of Part I of our vacation.

We left right after church last Sunday, Father’s day, to head to camp at North Myrtle Beach, SC. My parents had already been there for a week, so we met up with them.

We love this campground, and I have been coming here since I was a toddler. We always see many of the same people every year, and it’s so great! The kids and grandkids have all kindof grown up together.

We got there around 7. The sky was beautiful!

Addison was trying to corral the geese away from our campsite. We didn’t want goose poop all over our site.

All set up and ready for bed.

Day 1, we were up early and off to the beach. Addison was eager to get to digging in the sand and playing in the water.

We even walked about a mile down the beach to take pictures at the pier.

That evening, we went to eat dinner then indulged in some ice cream. It was our first of many trips to get ice cream. #weareonvacation

We went to a kite shop and then made it an early night. I read and relaxed some before dozing off.

Tuesday, we were up early. Joey went on a long bike ride, and me and Addison walked down to walk the beach and look for shells.

We cooked and ate breakfast at camp. Then, we got sunscreened up and walked out to the beach. The little girls had a blast playing together. However, the older kids didn’t want their picture taken. 😉

Here are all our friends playing Bocce ball on the beach. It’s such a fun past time, and we have all played together for years.

The weather at the beginning part of our vacation was perfect. Low Humidity. Partly to Mostly Cloudy. Cool Mornings and Comfortable during the day. However, by Wednesday, the heat was back on!

Tuesday night, we went to get our first seafood fix at Bimini’s. It was delicious! We waited over an hour, but it was worth the wait!

When we got back to camp, we needed to walk off our food. We headed to the beach. The sky was beautiful! It was reflecting off the ocean and making it look pink/purple. The pictures don’t compare to what it looked like in person.

Wednesday, we were back at the beach early. You can already tell from the pictures that the sun was brighter and there was less cloud coverage. The girls were having a blast! It makes me reminisce to us playing together growing up.

We went to the pool in the afternoon and played too, but I didn’t grab any pictures.

That night, we decided to have Joey cook hibachi on the Blackstone

Here’s our master chef.

We invited our friend’s Charles and Teresa over to eat with us. We all had a great time. The food and company were all great! Addison and Joey decided to get in some wrestling after dinner.

I’m going to end part one and will finish the second part at another date… possibly next week. Thank you so much for coming back and continuing to read and follow along on our life journey. I will be back for What’s up Wednesday link up. I can’t believe it’s already the end of June. It’s going to really need to pump the breaks. See you then!
