**Friday Favorites** {7.8.2022}

Happy Friday Everyone! How are you? I cannot believe how fast summer is flying by. I really only have 2 more weeks, and I’ll be back at work! What in the world?!?

Per the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing our favorites from the week.

Since I didn’t do a recap of last weekend, I’m sharing it all today.

Last Friday, we headed to the mall to do some shopping at Sephora. The mall was a ghost town.

I grabbed some new perfume. I love how fresh this smells for the summer! It’s a new favorite!

Replica Sailing Day

We had plans to meet up with our friends and have a picnic at a local park and let the kids play in the splash pad. Well, plans sometimes don’t work out. It came up a storm and poured rain. We settled for meeting at Chicken Salad Chick. Brooklyn was sad too! 😉

Saturday morning, we got up and headed to Aunt Dot’s pool. Addison had a blast and loved the slide.

Saturday evening, we went to Joey’s Dads to celebrate his birthday and Father’s Day!

The girls enjoyed seeing and talking to Sunny, the turtle.

We sang to the birthday guy and played outside.

Just a girl and her Daddy.

After we left, we went to town to grab a spot to watch the fireworks. These girls always have the best time together!

I grabbed these shorts over the weekend from JCrew Factory. They have definitely been a favorite! So cute and comfortable! Only $20 and come in so many great colors. Mine are the Poppy. This is not my exact bodysuit, but I’m loving it! I love the ruffle straps, and it has great reviews!

We had a great 4th of July!

We went to a little hometown parade. And, boy it was HOT! The sun was beating down!

These girls were ready to see floats and get some candy.

Me & my girl.

Here’s the whole gang waiting for it to start. Joey looks thrilled.

By the time the last float passed by, I was a hot, sweaty mess. I am not one to enjoy extreme heat without a body of water nearby. Hahaha!

Addison played in the sprinkler, when we got home, to cool off. It was a nice reprieve.

That evening, after cooking out, we went on a family bike ride to the park.

We invited Adalynn over to the pool this week, and the girls had a blast. It was a great way to beat the heat. I think the heat index this day was 110.

We love practicing our sight words with these flash cards. One side has little pictures to help give a reminder, and the other side has just the word. This box set comes with 220 Dolch Sight Words.

I made these delicious Blueberry bars this week. Grab the recipe here

This is just the best in the summertime.

I needed to reorder my hardwood floor cleaner. I get this cleaner from Amazon, and it’s been great! I like the way it smells, and it does a great job cleaning and does not leave streaks. This is the gallon jug I use to fill up my spray bottle

I have been on the search for a straw bag to take on an upcoming trip. I wanted to use it for a carry-on and as a beach bag when I arrive. I love the look of this one on Amazon!

Have any of you started shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? My day to start shopping is tomorrow, and I’m giddy with excitement! I have so many things on my Wish List to buy once I go live. Here is a list of Bestsellers so far! I can’t wait to share with you all what I grab.

On Wednesday, I shared Part 2 of our vacation. If you missed it, read all about it here

That’s it for today… I hope you have a great weekend and the weather is cooler than it is here in Georgia. Some days I feel like we are walking on the surface of the sun. Ha! I’ll see you back here on Monday!
