**Friday Favorites** {8/12/2022}

Hello Friday!!! TGIF!!!! How was everyone’s week? I feel like we are starting to get into the school routine,

Per the usual, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing our favorites from the week.

Ya’ll just settle in because Addison’s teacher is so amazing and wonderful this year and shares all the things with us daily. I LOVE getting all the picture updates of everything they’re doing at school!

These pictures are priceless!

They worked on letter identification and formation by using Play doh. I know she was in Heaven, because I don’t let her use it much at home. I don’t want little pieces of Play doh everywhere. I know… I should get over myself. 😉

She was chosen as the secret slug one day this week because she was being a hard worker and working quietly. She got to choose an eraser friend, and that made her day!

They had their first Chapel day this week. We are loving the new shirt this year!

Addison’s self Portrait… she even drew ruffles on her shorts! <3 it!!

Her with one of her pals, Henry. I work with his sweet Mama!

We were so proud of her and she was so excited that she was the Star Student one day this week! She even got to hold the “class pet”. It made her day!

On Monday, we had to make a run to Hobby Lobby! One of our faves! We love the smell as you walk in, and we definitely love all the new Fall stuff that is out! How do they display it so well that you want it all! Ha!

Puzzle time with Dad one evening was a favorite.

Sweet girl started dance this week. We are doing Ballet & Jazz this year. She was out! Kindergarten is wearing her out! She was so excited to see some of her old friends.

Tea delivery at school is a favorite!

I have many job titles at school… I run meetings and organize schedules, I test kiddos and…..

I help as a lunchroom monitor when nobody shows up. 😉

Of course I wait until the Fall to decide that I want/need some new shoes to wear to school. The selection is more limited this time of year. With it still being in the 90s in Georgia, I’m still not ready to wear closed toed shoes or boots. I ordered some different styles from Nordstrom and am going to narrow the selection down and decide which ones to keep.

Here were my first arrivals. This pair is made my Steve Madden, so you know it’s a good company. They’re Espadrilles. I feel like they did run true to size. It stated if you’re a 1/2 size, size down. I did, and that size worked! The material is all stretchy, so no velcro or buckle. I do like the natural color, so I can wear them with lots of different color schemes. I do have a high instep, so it was a little tight across the top of my foot, but I do feel like it would stretch out over wear. All in all, I think this one is a good contender. But I am going to decide once I get all of them in.

And… here is the second pair that came in! The foot bed on these are so soft and with the big cork wedge, they are very comfortable! The straps are foam, so they are not constricting at all! These are also Steve Madden, and I ordered my true size! And just ignore the picture where I’ve rolled up the bootcut jeans, I was trying to show you a better look at the whole sandal, not covered up.

I’m going to share some of my favorite finds from the week.

So, working on my computer most of the day and the way I look at my screen, I have been having a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders. So, I was doing some research on things to help with the tension and came across this neck relaxer. It has over 40,000 reviews. I have used it now twice this week, and I feel like it does relax my neck and stretch out my spinal cord relieving the tension. So, I am very excited to continue using this!

How nifty is this! This would be perfect for teachers! If you are tired of waiting in line for a microwave at work…this might be a great option for you! This electric lunch box heats up your lunch in about 20-30 minutes. It is on sale for $19.79!!

How cute is this ruffle shirt on Amazon! I love the ruffles on the sleeves and down the sides as well as around the pocket. So cute!

Oh my Gosh… this made me spit my drink out! Seeing this took me back to my childhood! Hahaha! Did anyone else “eat” these?

And… isn’t this the truth…..

If you missed my link up on Wednesday, I shared how I do everyday cleaning… Read all about it here

That is it for today!! I hope you have a fun-filled weekend planned! I will see you back here on Monday!

I just love her “Jesus is my best friend” t-shirt! And her self-portrait… ADORABLE! That one needs to go in the scrapbook. 🙂

Oh my word, heading over to look up those Steve Madden wedges now. They look like ones I would love. You look gorgeous in that outfit, by the way.
