**Friday Favorites** Christmas 2022 {12.30.2022}

I can’t believe Christmas has come and gone. We have had a great week full of Christmas cheer.

Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.

Last Friday, I was supposed to work, but with the frigid weather, our county pronounced a digital working day. Yes!!!!

Friday night, we grabbed a bite to eat and headed out in search of Christmas lights! A little Jammy Cocoa Christmas.

We drove about 30 minutes to see this well known subdivision where everyone participates in decorating to the max. However, the high winds had blown a lot of things over and down, so not as many lights were decorated as usual. Oh well, we still had so much fun! It was all beautiful!

There were lots of favorites, but the Grinch house was definitely a favorite!

That night I just tried to sit and enjoy the peacefulness of the tree and Christmas lights.

Saturday morning, we woke up to frigid temperatures…. I’m talking single digits and negative wind chill. This is harsh even for GA weather. I worked on baking and cooking because we had some Christmas get togethers that night. Joey, unfortunately, got some work calls that he had to go run. When the frigid temperatures hit, he gets called.

Addison begged to open a gift before we went to our grandparents for Christmas Eve. We let her open her book “5 More Sleeps Til Christmas. She was excited!

She also wanted her Dad and I to open our gifts that she bought us. It was the sweetest.

We took one picture in front of the tree and headed to his Granny’s house first.

We stayed there a little bit and then ended at my Papa’s house. We played the Saran Wrap Doubles game. Everyone had so much fun! Mom and I put it together.

Then we dug into unwrapping gifts.

Isabel got a new toilet bowl cleaner. We laughed so hard!

We love our sweet Papa.

While Papa opened cards, if it was money, he would shove it down his shirt. We were laughing so hard at how much we pulled out of his shirt.

We got home, got A ready for bed, then got ready for Santa.

The next morning, we were up early and she was digging into presents and playing with all her things from Santa.

We’re going to Disney in February!!!

And, Santa did bring her a real makeup set. #sigh

She had to wash it all off before church.

Here we are all dressed for Church on Christmas morning.

She had to play some basketball, quickly, before we left. Santa brought her a basketball goal

We got home from Church, changed clothes, and played a little bit. My parents and Joey’s Dad, Christy, and Kathy came over to see what Santa had brought.

Then, I started cooking some things to take to his Moms that night for her Christmas. Penny got the girls American Girl Dolls that look like them. They were the sweetest! She also got them backpacks to take to Disney!

Joey was supposed to be off on Monday, but he ended up having to go into work. Boooo! Addison wanted to play. She dressed up in a coverup and said she was ready for the beach. Me too, girl! Me too!

Monday night, we had Christmas with my parents. Mom cooked a Prime Rib roast, twice baked potatoes, and brussels sprouts. It was delicious!

Then, it was time for presents!

Robot / Dot Sticker Book

And, she got a pink BB gun. She was so excited!

We all got some fun and exciting gifts!

Unfortunately, Joey got called back into work, so we had to cut our night a little short. As we were leaving, it was starting to snow a little bit.

On Tuesday, I had to go to the doctor. Mom rode with me and Addison stayed with Joey’s Dad. She was having a blast playing with Adalynn.

Mom & I ran by the Loft. They had some really cute sweaters- especially for Valentine’s Day!

We ran into Hobby Lobby to see if we needed any Christmas decorations for next year. 😉

On Wednesday, we met Mom & Aunt Dot for lunch in Cartersville. We went to this really great Deli place. Addison and Aunt Dot had a draw-off. We hit up some shops, on the square, after lunch. It was a fun little afternoon. We love Nonna & Aunt Dot!

Addison did some coloring and play time with her Dot Activity Book Thursday morning.

We did some shopping at the Big Red Ball.

Last night, we went out to celebrate Emma’s 16th birthday!! I can’t believe she is 16!

If you made it this far, congratulations! 😉

What do ya’ll have planned for ringing in the New Year? We don’t really have a lot planned. We may shoot off some bottle rocks and light some sparklers. That’s about all of our excitement that’s planned. I am taking off Monday & Wednesday. I’ll be back next Friday!! Happy New Year, friends!!

What a fun week! We played the saran wrap/ doubles game at my mother’s house on Christmas eve. It was my first time making up the balls and not just playing the game (it was a bit trickier to get it started then I thought!).
