**Hello Monday** {5.22.2023}

It’s the last Monday of the school year! What in the world!! How did we get here so fast? I’m not sure if I’m coming or going right now, I’ve been so busy.

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

As I was making the early morning rounds, I peeked in and saw Adalynn reading to the class. It was so sweet!

Friday morning was one of my favorite events all year. It’s when the Seniors come back to their Elementary school and walk the halls. It always makes me tear up. I’m so proud of all these kids!

After the Senior Walk, we got right to work with field day for the 4th and 5th graders! We all had so much fun!

I got a quick selfie with one of my work besties, Whitley, who is actually also my cousin. 😉 We were twinning in our shirts.

Friday night, we had dance dress rehearsals at the high school. This drive down to the school is so beautiful!

Saturday morning we were up bright and early and preparing for Addison’s recital.

I snapped a quick picture before she ran back.

The gangs all here! 😉

It was a great show!! I loved all the music and the choreography! The theme was Icons through the 20th century! So fun!

Addison’s jazz dance was to “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls. She loved it and had so much fun! She was able to bring out her sass, and she was all about it!

Her ballet song was to “What the World Needs Now”. This one was sweet too!

We were so proud of our little dancers! Addison & Adalynn are so very loved with all the people coming to watch them.

So proud of you!!

We left the recital and decided to go get Ice Cream. I saw Raspados, the ice truck on the way, and had Joey stop to get me one of these! They are a favorite, and I haven’t had one since last year! So, I was very excited! Addison, Joey, Mom & Dad still got DQ ice cream. 🙂

We got back to the house and I relaxed a little bit outside. I read some from my current book. It’s a good one!  The cat was living its best life as usual.

We ran to the outlet mall to grab Joey some more dress pants and ate a quick dinner.

Once we were back home, I gave Addison her little bundtlet for the recital.

Saturday night, we put together a puzzle. Addison slept in a tent, in her play room. Joey and I watched “The Mother” on Netflix. It was good. We enjoyed it. It’s hard agreeing on something we both want to watch.

Sunday morning, I worked on organizing, cleaning, and some laundry. It was a busy morning just getting things organized.

Addison wanted me to take a pic of her food art from lunch.

We made a visit with my Papa yesterday afternoon. Of course, Addison isn’t going to turn down an ice cream offer.

I saw these memes, and they really gave me a good laugh.

That’s it for our weekend. We are all pretty much crawling to the finish line. But, we can do it! The end is in sight! See you on Wednesday, friends!
