**Weekend Recap** {3.16.2020}

Happy Monday!! I’m hoping you guys had a restful weekend with your family taking time to reconnect and practice social distancing. We did! I saw these two pictures, and I agreed. We are always running and in a hurry. It’s wonderful that we now have time to just slow down, enjoy each other’s company and make those memories.

Our school system made plans and closed all schools in our county for the next two weeks. We had Friday to get everything prepped and ready. We will be teaching and conducting all meetings online. Unfortunately, a lot of our students don’t have access to internet or a computer. I loaded up all my students with things to reinforce learning while at home. It was amazing how everybody took action and came together to get everything ready in under 8 hours on Friday.

Friday night, I ran to get some last minute things at the grocery store. It was crazy busy and most items were gone. No bananas, potatoes, bread, toilet paper, etc… It was crazy. Now, I’m not one to freak out, but I was getting a littler perturbed because I just wanted things to cook. Anyways, we ate leftovers that night, and Addison played and tried on more of her “new” costumes.

Saturday morning, we slept in a little bit. I started cleaning and doing laundry. Joey fixed some breakfast. Jasmine put together a puzzle. 😉

It started drizzling/raining, so Addison took advantage of some Disney +. We are major fans!!

I worked on some lesson plans and sending some emails. Then, I began organizing her closet and my closet. I took our thick sweaters/coats upstairs. I also took her winter shoes that are too small upstairs.

After nap time, the sun peeked back out. We went outside to take advantage of some much needed Vitamin D. Addison is obsessed with sticks right now as you’ll see from the upcoming pictures. Haha!

I called in some Mexican to go. Addison thoroughly enjoyed her queso.

We built a fire and enjoyed just sitting/playing outside. Addison also enjoyed some flower picking. And you can also see Addison’s new stick.

Sunday was dreary. We snuggled up and slept in. It was glorious!!

We continued to enjoy some Disney +. Greatest investment!! If you don’t have it, I highly recommend it!!

I did some hair styling. #browneyedbeauty

Sunday night, we went to Mom & Dad’s for dinner. She cooked fried flounder and fried shrimp with tater tots and coleslaw. It was delicious!! It was almost as if I could feel the ocean breeze and sand in between my toes. 😉

I hope you all have a wonderful day!! If you’re looking for some things to do at home with your kids, whether it be for play or academics, please feel free to email me. I will be working from home this week and next week. 🙂

I’ll see you back here on Wednesday, for “Let’s Look”. This month is a look into my purse. This could be scary.
