Addison hasn’t really enjoyed it, but I’m glad she’s been working through her Summer workbook each weekday morning.
I like this Summer Bridge book because it is a quick 15 minutes, and it’s done.
Friday, we met up with our friends Whitley & Shannon at the pool. We all had so much fun! It was hot!
On the way home, from the pool, Addison lost her tooth. It had been bothering her, and she just pulled it out! Haha! I am not a tooth puller.
I enjoyed my new Beach Summer hat. It’s very sturdy.
Saturday evening, we had made plans to take Joey’s Dad to dinner and then to see the Rome Braves game.
I snapped a pic with Joey.
The girls enjoyed playing some of the games while eating.
Once we finished, we headed over to the stadium.
Our seats were great! We were so close that I flinched at a few of the pop up balls. Thankfully the net caught them.
Gang is all here.
Of course A wanted a treat.
The girls enjoyed some of the green space.
The Friday night game had gotten rained out, so they were playing a double header. Our team won the first game.
Unfortunately they didn’t win the second game.
They gave out Austin Riley Bobbleheads to the first 1,000 fans. It was supposed to be for our game, but since they added on the extra game, they gave them out starting at 4:00. We were very bummed we didn’t get there early enough. However, they had a couple extra. So each of the girls ended up getting one.
Sunday, we had an easy morning. We had to make a Target run, and they really disappointed me with the school supplies. I had to walk by quickly and try to avoid that section. Not yet Target.
We had an easy afternoon. I made Addison some homemade mac n’ cheese to go with some leftover steak.
We went to church last night. We got home about 10, and I started finishing up this blog post. Then read for a bit, and that’s it! I hope ya’ll have a great week! I can’t believe the 4th is this week.

Aww congrats to Addison- yeah! Nothing like losing a tooth at that age right? 🙂 That pool looks heavenly and the weekend looks like a blast!
Thanks, Holly!!
Sounds like you’re having a nice summer. That pool looks like a good one! My youngest daughter taught in the lower grades and would say her least favorite thing was having a student lose a tooth lol. She can’t handle it. Enjoy the rest of your break and happy 4th!
Ha! Yes, I am not a tooth person. It gives me the chills thinking about it!
June flew by too fast! I hope July slows down. Pool dates are the way to go in the summer! Adorable hat! Is that a minor league baseball team? How fun!
Yes, it was a minor league game. 🙂 I hope you are having a great start to your week!
