Summer Vacation

**Myrtle Beach Vacation Recap Part I** {7.2.2025}

Happy Wednesday!!

A few weeks ago, we left on Father’s Day and headed to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for a week vacation. We take our Fifth Wheel camper and stay at Myrtle Beach Travel Park. We have been doing this for years.

We made a quick breakfast stop, at iHop, first thing.

Upon arrival, we headed down to the ocean.

My parents stay the same week, and we are usually close to each other. We enjoyed spoiling the guys for Father’s day.

We went to bed fairly early and were all up early and enjoyed a walk on the beach.

We had breakfast, back at camp, then headed out to enjoy our first full day in the sun. We did a lot of playing.

That night we headed to King’s pizza to enjoy some delicious food. It’s always a must have place to eat.

After dinner, we headed to Broadway at the Beach to walk, er jump, off our food.

Addison wanted all the stuffies.

She did get a Stitch Balloon animal.

And then, because vacation, we headed to get ice cream.

We walked Milo a bit, when we got back, and headed to bed.

Tuesday morning, we were out and walking early again. Milo loves the beach.

We saw a turtle hanging around Mom & Dad’s camp and followed it along as it went on into the lake.

Joey & Addison enjoyed a morning bike ride.

Addison wanted to start out at the pool on this day. It was hot! So, lazy river for the win!

We headed down to the beach a little later, and met up with our friends. Addie and Addison loved playing in the ocean together!

Mom snapped a pic of me and Joey.

Tuesday night, we headed a little ways up to Hoskins. It was definitely busy, but sooo good!

Dad ordered the whole flounder.

We dropped Mom & Dad back at camp and headed to meet up with Joey’s Mom and sisters at Broadway at the Beach!

They were staying a few miles south of us.

The girls all rode the rides and loved them all!

After the rides, the girls did a dance party.

Then we stayed and enjoyed the fireworks show!

Adalynn ended up coming back with us and spending the night.

We played card games and had lots of snacks.

The sleeping beauties took a while to wake up.

And then we were off exploring.

We enjoyed a morning stroll on the beach.

After breakfast, we headed down to enjoy the day.

The girls had all the fun! We all love the beach, and it felt great since it was hot.

Wednesday night, we had reservations for a Polynesian fire show & dinner.

They had it decorated really well in there, and the buffet was enjoyable with lots of Polynesian choices.

The show was great! The music was great, and the jokes were great!

We enjoyed all the different dances and costumes.

The girls went up for a hula lesson as well. Addison was a little embarrassed, as you can see. Haha!

Great fun and would definitely recommend!

That wraps up part 1 of our trip. I’ll share part 2 on another blog post.
