Well, we have officially been back in the groove for a week. I’m already exhausted! Haha!
Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.
The students didn’t have to go to school on Monday since it was a teacher work day. Addison stayed with Mom & Dad, and they made some bread. It turned out pretty good. It tasted better than it looked.
One of Addison’s favorite things has been this USB Crystal Touch lamp she got for Christmas from her Aunt Dot & Uncle Coon. It’s from Amazon and there are other crystal colors.
This week started a new fundraiser… for chocolate this time around. It’s not really a favorite for me. #sigh
Bree dropped her cashews in her desk drawer. It was not a favorite, but we got a great laugh out of it.
I made this BBQ cheesy chicken dish this week. It was a favorite! We all loved it! Very flavorful! I’ll share the recipe on a later post.
I’ve had these same Ugg slippers for probably at least 5 years. Well it was time to get a new pair. Addison wore them to school for pajama day then climbed trees in them, that really did them in. lol
So, they’re definitely well loved and a favorite!
I also wanted some new sneakers. I ended up ordering these New Balance 327s. I got mine in the linen with sea salt, but they come in lots of different color options. I’ve only worn them one day, and they felt good. I do have a high instep, so I felt like I did need to loosen them up a bit for that.
I’m sharing two pairs of jeans with you today. These are from Target, and a great price point! They say medium wash, but I feel like they’re more of a light wash. These are more of a wide leg.
I felt like these jeans from Avara are slightly more stretchy and a tad bit softer. They are more of a straight leg, and they are also listed as a medium wash.
A Target run yesterday was a favorite.
