Friday Favorites

**Friday Favorites** {2.6.2026}

TGIF…. It’s been a hard week, and I’m ready for the weekend! Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.

Last weekend, they were predicting we get a ton of snow. I should have known they would be wrong. Now, just a little East of us, they did get a lot more snow. Us, not so much. This was first thing Saturday morning.

Then a little later around lunchtime, Mom sent this picture from her house.

We still tried to play and make the most of it… but not long. The temps were frigid. It was about 11 degrees, feels like -1. So, needless to say, we weren’t out in it long.

To be honest, most of the time, I was inside looking out. Haha!

We went over and spent some time with Aunt Dot. Addison wanted to bring her sled. She was a happy girl.

She built a fort for her and Milo to sleep in Saturday night.

This flashback popped up on my memories from my college snow days way back in 2007. I can’t believe how long ago this was!! It was a fun day for us college students.

This week there was a bright, full moon on the way to school. This is usually not a good sign for teachers.

Milo got a Pup-a-ccino this week, and it was his most favorite thing!

And he looks so cute with his grooming.

We layed my sweet Uncle to rest this week. He put up a hard, hard fight with cancer. Sadly, the cancer won. We are so thankful he’s no longer suffering and healed by Jesus.

For the funeral, I wore my Tiffany necklace, in his honor. He bought it for me on a trip to New York one year.

My Aunt found this picture of us from back in 2005. Wow! Another throwback!

I sure am going to miss this gentle giant. Fly high. I’ll see you again.

My sweet cousins and family helped cover his body. It is always very moving to me to watch this.

One evening, after school, Addison and I had to go get shoes for the school Valentine’s day dance. Our disagreements are not a favorite. This seems like foreshadowing for what is to come in our future. Haha!

This cozy set from Amazon was a favorite this week! I really couldn’t love it more! The material truly is luxurious! It’s a little pricey for Amazon, but when I tell you it’s worth it, believe me!! I really want to order it in all the colors, but mine is called the Grey Blue.

Cindy bought me a tea this week. Such a sweet treat from my sister!

And a big favorite this week was my work counter part being named as one of the 4 finalists for our county Teacher of the Year! I was so excited when they surprised her!! She’s amazing, and I love working with her every day!

On Wednesday, I shared Part II of our Nashville getaway. If you missed it, check it out here.

And that’s a wrap on our week!

I hope you have a great weekend!
