Hey Friends!! How’s everyone doing today?
Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.
I just need to document another Lion King picture of Addison’s cast. They did so amazing! It was a favorite!
Sunday night and early Monday morning, the weather was predicted to be bad. Tornadoes and strong winds were expected to arrive right at morning bus pick up times. Our county decided to implement a 2 hour delayed start which I agreed was a great idea. I just wish they would have told us the night before and not at 5:30 the morning of. Oh well. So, I was up early on weather watch.
On Tuesday, our school had Donuts with Grownups. It was fun being on St. Patty’s day too! It was a favorite spending some extra morning time with her.
Tuesday afternoon, I had my podiatrist follow-up appointment. I was so thrilled they said I could stop wearing the boot full-time as long as my foot was feeling good. I decided to treat myself. Haha!
Wednesday, Addison woke up with a little bit of a sore throat. I just figured it was allergies because all the weather things are happening around here. I mean one day 20, one day 80. You never know.
That afternoon, she said it was still really hurting. I felt her, and she felt warm. I decided to take her to urgent care. And, very unfortunately, she tested positive for the Flu. I was shocked!
We made it home from urgent care, and sweet Milo was just all snuggled up waiting on us.
Sweet Milo had a groom appointment which was a favorite.

And that wraps up our week… hopefully Addison will be on the mend soon and none of us get sick. Fingers crossed.
She’s supposed to have her first volleyball game on Saturday, so we will see if that actually happens.
