**Friday Favorites** {7.21.2023}

Hello Friends!! I come to you today with my last Friday Favorites of the Summer break. Starting Monday, I’m back at school. We have had a wonderful summer filled with lots of memories. I am sad to be going back, but it will be good to see everyone and get back into a routine. When do your kids go back to school?

Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.

Last week, we went down to Destin, Florida for the week. We got home on Tuesday evening. So, my Friday favorites are really starting on Wednesday.

Here are a couple pictures from our time at the beach. I will share a complete post later.

Wednesday morning, I had a facial appointment. It was 75 minutes long. She did all the things, and it was heavenly.

I left the spa and headed to meet up with my Mom & Addison for some school shopping. We got everything checked off the list!

We left there and headed to Hobby Lobby. They already have all the Fall things out.

#hello pumpkin

We snagged some fruit while at the store. We go through a lot of fruit! How do you guys wash your fruit? I used to just rinse it with water but have started letting in soak for about 5 minutes in a water and white vinegar mixture. Then rinse well. They seem to last longer, and I feel like they are a lot cleaner.

Our trampoline has a lot of trash on it right now, but we enjoyed playing games and jumping on it one evening this week.

Addison’s new cup and thermos from school arrived. She is excited about them for the new school year!

Yesterday, I had to run some errands, and I grabbed a tea while I was out and about.

Adalynn came over, and the girls played for a while then had some lunch.

We got all ready and went to Shannon’s house to let the kids play. Probably their last day to play together in the pool this summer. They had a blast!

And of course wanted all the snacks.

We had planned to go to church last night when a really bad storm blew through. It came up so quickly. We ran to the basement. My Mom called and said her and Dad were outside and it sounded like a train. We lost power for about 15 minutes. We were lucky because most people were out hours. There were trees and power lines down everywhere. Joey couldn’t reach his mom, on her phone, so he drove toward her house and ended up having to walk through the woods to check on her. Thankfully, she was good. We are all pretty sure it was a tornado that came through.

This is at my friend Megan’s house.

My white ruffled top finally arrived from Amazon! It’s a new favorite. I will advise that it is see through. You can either wear a nude bra with it or a tank top. I would say it runs true to size.

Ruffled White Top

Jules & James has done it again! This Girly Floral Top in Ivory goes perfectly with the Distressed Hem Jeans in Pink. These pants are so soft! They are getting in so many cute arrivals daily. Be sure to shop everything here

I’m off to get a physical this morning. So no fun around here. I will be soaking in my last official summer weekend. I hope you guys have a great one! Thanks for stopping by!

Gah! Summer FLEW!!!! When do the kids start back for you guys? I am so glad to see you had such a wonderful summer full of memories. 🙂

I clean our fruit and veggies in water with apple cider vinegar. It does help them stay fresh longer, I agree.

It’s crazy that fall stuff is out already, but it’s my FAVORITE season so it makes me happy. We went to Target yesterday and saw Halloween clothes in the children’s section.

Whoa! What a storm! Those pictures make it look like it was a tornado!! Glad Joey’s mom was okay!

    Have a great weekend, Alison!!

It looks like you had a great time at the beach.
I love the fall display in the store. I love everything to do with pumpkins.
Oh gosh, that storm sounds awful. I am glad everyone was OK.
