Hey Friends!! Happy last Wednesday in April!
It’s the last Wednesday of the month. I am linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer and sharing what has been going on with us lately. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.
1. What We Are Eating This Week:
Sunday night we celebrated my Dad’s birthday with a surprise party at our house!
Sunday: Taco Bar with all the fixings and Cake & Ice Cream
Monday: We decided to celebrate Dad one more time by going out to eat Italian. He only turns 80 once.
Tuesday: Leftover Taco food
Wednesday: Baked Ziti with salad
Thursday: Hamburgers & Hotdogs with Hashbrown Casserole
Friday: Leftover ziti
Saturday: Kitchen’s closed!
2. What I’m Reminiscing About:
All these memories from Covid times… I loved all the time spent together. And all the adventures we went on.
All these memories from Easter throughout the years.
Can’t believe this was in 2022 when Addison broke her leg, and we decided to go to the beach. Thankfully, she was just in a brace then.
And then just to keep rolling with it… that year Addison also had Adenoids and Tubes surgery.
We loved this trip in 2023 to the Outer Banks! We laughed so much!
3. What I’m Loving:
I am loving that the weather is changing and becoming warmer. I’m also thankful that the pollen count is finally dying down.
4. What We’ve Been Up To:
We have been all involved in volleyball. The girls are loving it and doing great!
We celebrated Easter.
We wished our sweet niece, Adalynn a happy 10th birthday!
We had a great trip to the beach for Spring Break!
We spruced up the house with some mulch and pine straw.
And, we celebrated my Dad’s 80th birthday!
5. What I’m Dreading:
I’m not really dreading anything right now.
6. What I’m Working On:
I’m working on all the end of year things at school and home side. It’s a busy time, folks!
7. What I’m Excited About:
I am really excited about all the fun things we have planned the next few months!
8. What I’m Watching/Reading:
I have been reading The Wedding People, and it’s been an interesting read. I haven’t fully finished it yet because I have little to no time to read right now. This one got a little slow for me in the middle. I feel like now that I’m rounding it up and almost finished, it’s picking back up. It does have really great reviews on Amazon, so I thought I’d give it a try. Have you guys read it? Here’s what Amazon says.

Have you watched this show on Netflix? It’s a funny spin on a sad subject. It has some silly, dirty parts, but I am enjoying watching it.
9. What I’m Listening To:
Not a thing at the moment.
10. What I’m Wearing:
We are in testing season at school, so I have been wearing all the encouragement T-shirts.
11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:
We have a Volleyball game and not sure what else we have going on.
12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:
We will be celebrating our favorite Mamas, having our end of year Dance Recital and all the End of year festivities and Awards Day.
13. Favorite Amazon Find:
I purchased this Apple Watch Band a few months back, and I’m so glad I did. It’s of great quality and dresses the watch up a bit. This one comes in multiple finishes.
14. What Else Is New:
