We got to the campground about 5. We set up and ran to get some food to bring back. As soon as we were done eating, Addison was begging to go to the pool. We didn’t stay long because a storm blew in. We were all in bed around 9:30, and it was marvelous!
Saturday morning, we were up fairly early taking Milo for a walk. He loves camping because he gets extra outside time. It was still pretty wet outside from the rain the night before.
We made breakfast at camp which consisted of bacon, sausage, eggs and donuts.
We weren’t sure what the weather was going to do that day, so we headed to the pool right after opening at 9:00. The water was still fairly chilly, so I was not getting in just yet.
She talked Joey into getting in and playing with her.
She met a freind which was great because they kept each other entertained. The weather turned out beautiful! It was the perfect amount of sun and clouds.
Her new friend talked her into a dance off.
Addison enjoyed some relaxing time on the float. She was cracking me up.
They went down the slides a few times.
And I was enjoying the relaxing time just chilling and reading.
We left the pool about 4 and headed to camp to start getting everything prepped for dinner. Aunt Dot joined us to eat, and we had such a fun visit. We are so glad she came by!
After she left, we ended up going back to the pool for about an hour for a night swim. It was hopping with lots of people!
Sunday morning, we were up fairly early enjoying our quiet time. Milo was being a sweet boy.
We didn’t hang around long. We left about 9:30 to head back toward home.
It was a fun little getaway. We enjoyed some stress free time together!
