**Hello Monday** {10.23.2023}
Friday morning was Field trip day for Addison. I was able to go, and it was great!
We arrived at the Pumpkin farm, and they had lots of pumpkins and decorations.
We walked straight to get on the wagon ride, and we saw so many cool animals. The kids and adults loved it! 😉
After the ride, we got off and had different station rotations. It was very organized and just the right amount of time at each one.
One of them, they had to stuff pants/shirts to make a scarecrow. It was cracking me up. Hay was flying everywhere.
They had a few cold blooded animals to touch. I stayed back. We all had a picnic lunch, loaded the buses and headed back to school.
Friday night was our school’s Fall Festival. We had to move everything inside because of the scattered rain showers. It was tight quarters, but everyone still seemed to have fun. I had to work the concession stand for an hour, and then I was able to walk around with Joey & Addison.
Sadly, even though they did the cake walk about 7 times, they still did not win. We didn’t need it anyway. Haha!
The jump houses and slides were a big hit.
Dustin, Shannon’s husband, won one of Aunt Dot’s cakes.
We got home around 8 and were all in bed by 9:30.
The next morning, Mom, Aunt Dot, Addison & I headed to my favorite little gold rush town, Dahlonega for the Gold Rush festival. It’s my favorite and great to be back in my college town.
We enjoyed walking around, and the weather was perfect!
Addison was enjoying all the fun things.
Love this town. It’s so special to me.
Once we got home, Joey called and asked if we wanted to meet his Granny for dinner. So, we did. Then Addison and I had to head to some stores to grab a few things in preparation for Red Ribbon Week dress ups this week.
The next morning we all got ready for Church. I wore my favorite J&J Tiered dress in a different color- just black.
Black Tiered Dress (I think mine is sold out. This one is very similar) / Dolce Vita Heeled Mules (Now on Sale)
My parents are finally back home. So, on the way home from church, we stopped by to visit with them for a bit. They had brought us back lots of goodies and gifts.
We got home, relaxed did laundry and other things for about an hour until we had to get ready for pictures. We took family pictures out at this private pond. I can’t wait to see them!
That’s all for our weekend! I can’t wait to see what ya’ll did! I will see you back on Wednesday for our October monthly recap and link up. I can’t believe October is already almost over! Hope you have a great start to your week!

That festival on Sunday looks like a blast but my favorite part is all of you ladies in your fall attire- just perfect! That black dress is beautiful on you too 🙂

I was going to say… your mom (and dad) is home!!! I bet you are happy about that! The field trip and fall festival look like they were a lot of fun. That dress you wore Sunday is super cute and flattering.
