**Hello Monday** {5.1.2023}

I can’t believe it’s May guys! I love this month! It’s super busy, but it feels like the gateway to Summer!

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday night, Joey and his Dad worked on putting the shingles on our patio. I grilled hamburgers with onions and baked beans. It was a nice evening.

Addison begged to have a sleepover in our room. We obliged. Princess was worn out.

The next morning, we were up early for soccer Saturday! And, we had some special guest come watch Addison play. Addison was very excited to see Adalynn.

After the game, we rushed home to start working on some things outside around the house.

I cleaned the bathrooms and started a load of laundry then headed outside to start pressure washing the front porch. It needed it badly.

Joey worked on mowing grass and plowing the garden.

Addison and I worked on picking up the trash and wood that wasn’t going to be used and dumping it. Joey cleaned up the big stuff with his tractor.

Addison found this furry caterpillar as we were cleaning. LOL

I also worked on pulling weeds out of the flower bed. That is such a back breaking job. So much clover!

Joey did plant a few things in the garden.

After we got as much accomplished as we wanted to, we headed inside to get cleaned up for dinner. We didn’t really stop for any lunch.

We headed to eat Japanese.

We enjoyed our chef. He was hilarious.

I had to snap a couple pictures because the first one A was giving me some sass. 😉

We woke up Sunday to rain. Lots of rain. We had an easy morning. I made some pancakes with bacon.

It finally stopped raining about 10, and we headed for a walk.

We had a really lazy day yesterday. I ran to the store to grab a few food items for the week. Then, I was back home and enjoyed lots of breezy sunshine while I started a really good book! I love these kind of easy days!

I’ll be back on Wednesday to share part 2 of our trip to the Outer Banks! Bye friends!
