Family Vacation

**Myrtle Beach Vacation Recap Part II** {7.16.2025}

Hey guys!! Happy Wednesday!! Today I’m sharing the second part of our June vacation. If you missed part 1, check it out here.

We were up early on Thursday enjoying a walk on the beach. Milo definitely enjoyed it.

After getting some steps in, we headed back up to camp to start making breakfast.

Addi came over and joined us. Her and Addison had so much fun playing together this week!

We headed to enjoy some  pool time, and they were very cute in the lazy river.

After a full day at the beach and pool, we got ready and headed to Carolina Roadhouse for dinner.

I still dream about their honey butter croissant.

We needed to work off some of our dinner, so we headed to play putt putt. 😉

I snapped a pic of our lights when we got back to camp. Our flag was drooping a little bit.

The next morning, we were up early again for our morning walk. Milo was a happy boy.

We went to eat breakfast at Dino’s. It’s a favorite. Addison didn’t enjoy it at all. Haha!

We hurried back, got into our swimsuits and headed down to the beach.

I sure wish my toes were in the sand right now.

Friday evening, we headed to another classic- Hamburger Joes. We always make certain that we eat here. Their Golden Wings are the best wings I’ve ever had. Perfect combination of sweet and spicy.

That night we had tickets to the Alabama Theatre. We hadn’t been in years. It was a fun show, and they even interspersed some Disney songs.

Saturday was our last day, so we tried to soak in as much fun as possible. Joey spent lots of time playing out with Addison.

We had fun scooping up crabs and taking pictures.

After some beach time then we headed to the pool.

Addison joined in the duck race.

On our last night, we ate at Biminis for some fresh seafood. I got flounder and shrimp. So delicious!

One last walk on the beach.

Sunday morning, we were up early. We loaded up and said our goodbyes. Until next time.

We always enjoy these special trips with family. I really try to soak it up.

See you guys back on Friday!

  1. I just read your recaps and it makes me excited for our beach trip next month. We’re going to HHI. I haven’t been to Myrtle Beach in a long time, but we had a lot of fun trips there once upon a time. It looks like you had a great trip with lots of beach and pool time. It’s tough to get back to reality after a trip like this one : ) I love your dress from the Polynesian night-so pretty! Have a great day!

    1. Thanks, Joyce! We have been going to this same place for about 35+ years. It’s changed a lot, but we tend to stay on the North side away from the busy and often rough crowds on the south side.
