I’m starting back on Thursday… Addison spent the night with Adalynn. The girls had a lot of fun!
Friday morning, Joey set up the pool for the girls. Haha!
Cindy brought them to the house, and they enjoyed lots of time in the pool.
Meanwhile, I was heading out on a little girl’s overnight trip. We grabbed coffee first, of course!
And we headed about an hour to the Avalon.
They had planned a little birthday celebration. We stayed at the Marriott at the Avalon. It was nice and great for us!
We loved the location that you could walk to shopping and the restaurants.
After checking in our room, we headed to grab some lunch at Superica. It was delicious!
We stopped by some shops, and I was so excited to find my favorite candle at Anthropologie on sale! So, of course, I had to get it!
Anthropologie Honeycrisp Oakwood candle
When we got back to the room, it was decorated!! So fun!!!
We got into our swimwear and headed to the pool for a bit.
It was too hot to be anywhere but in the water.
I enjoyed my Amazon Beach Hat.
We hung out a while then headed up to get ready for dinner. We took up a charcuterie to enjoy as we got ready.
The guys were sending us pictures throughout the evening. They were having lots of fun too!
I snapped a picture before heading out. I’m wearing my Amazon Striped Maxi Dress.
After getting ready, we started walking towards the restaurant, and we saw a Herbie car. Do you guys know who Herbie is? I used to watch the Herbie movies with my grandparents when I was little. 🙂
They were having a concert in the greenspace area. We were a little early for our reservations, and it was starting to pour down rain, so we headed into Altar’d State. I snapped a few hat pics and sent them to Joey. Haha!
We ate at the Kona Grill. The meal and everything was delicious! I snapped a pic of my beautiful friend, Shannon.
We got a bunch of food and just shared it all.
My sweet sweet bestie, Caroline, drove forever and ever to surprise me and meet for dinner. I was so surprised and excited!!
We grabbed a random lady to take our picture, and I kid you not, she took about 30 pictures at various angles. By the end, we were all dying laughing.
After dinner, we walked around a bit and ended up at Cafe Intermezzo for delicious dessert!
We pretty much waddled back to the hotel. We were all so full. We walked out to the pool, but we decided we just wanted to chill out in the room. We had so much fun just having girl time.
The next morning, we got up about 8 and packed everything up. We headed down to grab some Starbucks and find some more sustainable breakfast- CFA. 😉
We had 10:00 spa appointments at a Head Spa. It was all of our first times, and it was so relaxing! We all agreed we would go back! Have any of you been to one?
I wore my comfy Amazon 2-piece set.
I don’t know if you can tell, but you lay facing up on the bed/table. Your head goes on the headrest above a small tub. That rainbow/halo looking contraption has water that shoots out.
So, we all had facials, neck/shoulder/arm massage, and the head treatment. It was glorious! Would definitely recommend!
We got home around 2. I unpacked and straightened up some things.
Soon, we were off with my parents. They were taking me out for my birthday.
I wore my new Kelly Green top from Amazon- Pretty Garden Peplum Tie Front.
Our meals were delicious!! We got a Molten Chocolate cake for dessert! Yes, so amazing!!
We snapped some pics after dinner.
Always love the pretty barn.
Sunday morning, we took an early morning walk down the road.
I did some cleaning and things around the house.
Then, Joey’s family had a birthday gathering for me and Cindy.
The birthday girls… 🙂
Here’s a link for my short sleeved sweater from Amazon.
Yesterday evening, we went and visited with my Aunt & Uncle. Then, we went to visit my Papa.
And that wraps up our weekend! What were you guys up to?
I hope you enjoy your week! See ya back on Wednesday!
