**Hello Monday** {12.11.2023

Happy Happy Monday!! Wow! December is flying by!

Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday morning, Elfie brought Addison a dinosaur egg. So, she was really excited to start digging to find the treasure. Eventually, I told her to leave it; we had to get to school.

Friday, our school had field trips to our local college and university. We are so lucky to be so close to Reinhardt U. We all enjoyed the Nutcracker performance.

Friday, after school, Addison was back to cracking her egg. She eventually got it open, and it revealed a little ceramic Christmas bear.

Friday night, I cooked burgers. Then, we had to go to the Funeral home for a family member’s Mother who passed. Once back home, we got baths/showers and were in the bed by 10.

We were back up at 6 to get ready for an 8 am basketball game. Addison played hard and even got a few breakaways.

Once home, I had to make some food to take to the funeral home. My plan was to also make some Christmas treats. However, I was also trying to do laundry and clean. So, Joey and Addison took over Christmas candy duty for a bit. 🙂

We had to leave around lunch to head to Adalynn’s dance recital. We were so excited! Addison said, “I’ve never been on this side of the curtain”.

We are so proud of our little Hip-Hop dancer, Adalynn! She did awesome!!

Joey had to work on his computer for a bit once we got back home. I worked on making our Christmas cards.

Then, we headed to eat a little early, so we could go to our town’s Christmas parade. We met Cindy and the family there. We were ready with our Christmas lights and sparkly headbands on. 🙂

Not only was our school in the parade. But, Addison’s dance studio was as well. We were glad we didn’t join in the fun because about 3/4 way through the parade, it started pouring rain. We made a break for it back to the car.

Sunday was a very dreary day. Addison and I spent about 2 hours wrapping presents. I made some more Christmas treats, and I worked on my laundry. It really never ends.

That evening, we went back to Reinhardt University. They were playing The Polar Express. The Falany Center was all bright and colorful.

Addison also wanted one in the sleigh.

If you’re still shopping, check out my Friday Favorites post … I shared a lot more gift ideas.

That’s it for our weekend… We have another busy week ahead and lots of fun! I hope ya’ll have a great start to your week!
