**Friday Favorites** {6.5.2020}

Happy Friday!!  Today I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing some of my favorite things from our week!! 🙂

Lots of pool time has been a favorite this week….. Addison has definitely loved it! 🙂

Another favorite this week and definitely some afternoon entertainment was these two loose donkeys. Trying to keep them out of the garden was quite comical.

I ordered a few new hair products this week… I needed some more heat treatment, so I ordered some more of this hair primer.

I also had heard great things about this dry shampoo. I needed some, so I ordered.

After tumbling down the stairs and breaking my flip-flops, I needed some new ones. I ordered another pair of these. The color is definitely a favorite.

A big favorite this week was celebrating two of my favorite guys. My Papa’s 90th and my Great Uncle Bill’s 100th! Read all about them here

We had a drive-by parade for my Papa. It was great!

His 98 year old sister came by to say Happy Birthday! So sweet!

He went to visit his brother at the nursing home. He turned 100 on the same day! So sad they couldn’t speak to each other.

Addison didn’t enjoy her cake at all! Ha! #shegetsithonestly

I am all about some dips. #whenidipyoudipwedip

I made this little dip, and we have been enjoying it with some crackers and fruit at lunch all week. Sometimes I make it for wedding/baby showers, and it’s always a crowd favorite. So, I thought I’d share it with you. You can always double/triple/whatever for your party size. There’s not really a set recipe, but just keep adding milk until it’s a creamy consistency.

1 block softened cream cheese

1 packet dry ranch seasoning packet

1 1/2 c. shredded cheese

1/3 cup mayonnaise

2 Tablespoons milk or more depending on creaminess

Mix ingredients all together and serve with crackers

Addison is still loving playing with her Peppa pig play house set. It’s a little pricey right now, but keep your eye on it. Hopefully the price will come back down.

That’s all for today… We have definitely had a great week jumping into June. I hope you all have a blessed weekend! 🙂

xoxo

The pool time looks awesome! I’d invest in one this year but apparently they’re impossible to find!

Keeping animals and critters out of the garden is always fun for us too. We finally got our fence up this past week. Our biggest threat is free roaming cattle!

    Hope your weekend is wonderful!

90 and 100!! That’s so wonderful! The donkeys on the loose made me giggle! We had the same things happen with goats in our town a few years ago, but they couldn’t catch them. It even made the front cover of our local newspaper. Happy swimming!

Yes, thank you! We are very blessed. That was quite hilarious trying to steer the donkey away…goats sound like they’d be hilarious too! I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend! 🙂
