**Disney Recap Day 5** Hollywood Studios {3.3.2021}

Today, I’m talking all about our day at Hollywood Studios!! Get ready!

We woke up to really cloudy skies and a high percent chance of rain. Before we headed to Hollywood Studios, we hopped on the Monorail to go to the Contemporary for Character breakfast at Chef Mickey’s! We saw the castle on the way. Eeeek!

Somebody was super excited to see the characters… it was me… Haha!

One Happy Girl… worth it all!

When we left Chef Mickey’s, it was raining really hard. We had to wait on the bus to take us to Hollywood Studios for a little bit. We weren’t mad about it because we were hoping the shower passed by. And it did… 🙂

It was chilly this day, but we didn’t let that deter us.

We were so excited because right when we walked in, The Incredibles, Jessie, Woody, and Buzz were walking/riding by.

We made a quick walk to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. We waited about 70 minutes to ride. The wait went quickly though.

While we were in line, Vamparina (One of Addison’s favorites) and Doc McStuffins went by on a parade.

The ride was super cute! One of my favorites!

After the railway, we walked over to see the Tower of Terror.

We went to watch the Frozen Sing Along. It was cute, and we enjoyed singing along.

After the show, the rain was coming down…. we put on our ponchos and headed toward Toy Story Land. We rode all three rides in that section, and I was really excited that Addison was able to ride Slinky Dog Dash! She LOVED it!

After Toy Story Land, we grabbed some popcorn, and headed over to the Disney Jr. Dance Party. We were excited to see some of our favorites up close and personal.

We walked over to the Star Wars part of the park. I know this may shock a lot of you, but I’ve never seen any of the Star Wars movies. I’m just not a big fan of those type movies…. give me a Rom Com, and I’m there. 😉

We had reservations at Sci Fi Dine-In for dinner. We had never been there so really didn’t know what to expect…..We were a little early to our reservation, so we had to wait for a few minutes.

We walked in, and I was so giddy. The entire room was filled with tables made from old style cars. They were facing a huge screen. It was like we were at a 50’s drive-in. So fun! The only bad thing I would say, and it’s not really bad, the movies they played were from the 50’s, so kindof boring. But other than that, so great!

That was it for our day at Hollywood Studios. We had lots of fun despite the weather.

I had promised to share some tips about Disney today. I am going to apologize because that’s just not going to happen. It has been a really hard/busy week at school. This week is Dr. Seuss week/dress up, so both me and Addison have dress up days. Throw in some doctor appointments, extra things at home that have come up and late meetings, and I’m just not going to fit the tips in today. I just finished this post late last night and need to get everything ready for school tomorrow. I promise I will share tips soon though! 🙂

I will be back on Friday for our favorites from the week.

See you then!

We have never dined at the Sci Fi either mostly because we always have 6 of us and wouldn’t all fit in the same “car” but I did think my boys would enjoy it. My guys can not wait to check out the Star Wars areas as they are all HUGE fans!

It was great fun! I did notice that for larger parties they had regular/larger tables. You didn’t actually sit “in” the car, but the table still had front and rear ends around the larger table. If that makes sense. So, I wouldn’t let your larger party deter you, you guys should still check it out! 🙂
