**Hello Monday** {4.17.2023}

Hello Everybody!! How was your weekend? We had a busy but fun one. 🙂

Like the usual, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday morning, I started off with this nice energy booster to make it through the week.

Friday was also a coworker’s birthday. We celebrated with a sweet treat. HBD David!

We rounded Friday off with burgers for dinner and an early bedtime. Great way to start the weekend!

We were up early, and I was at Target by 8:00. I had to grab a few things and thought I should try to do it when it wasn’t busy.

Addison had an early game. She did so well! She made some nice blocks.

And also got a breakaway and scored a goal! So so proud of her growth and confidence!

When we got home after the game, Joey started working on the outside, and I started inside. I dusted, cleaned the bathrooms, started laundry, and did some organizing. I went outside and pulled up weeds in the flowerbeds.

Joey changed the oil in my car, put out new mulch in some of the flowerbeds, burned some trash, smoothed out the driveway where it had washed, worked on the outside patio a little and mowed the grass.

Addison and I had a baby shower to go to, in the afternoon. So, we got ready and made our appearance. Both in Blue. 🙂

We returned, and Joey was worn out from the day’s work. So, once we returned home, he was ready to go. We had to pick up some things for Teacher Appreciation this week and some birthday presents.

Then, we were off to Lowe’s to look for some fresh ferns.

We ate dinner at Olive Garden. Joey and I shared, and it was the perfect amount for us. I love their salad and breadsticks.

Papaw, my dad, had given Addison $5 for scoring a goal, so she was eager to use it for some ice cream. She didn’t even get ice cream though. LOL

Sunday, we were up early and getting ready for church. While I was getting ready, Addison practiced her reading in my bathroom.

After church, Joey dropped me off at my friend Sharon’s house. Another work friend, Erin, joined us. We headed toward Atlanta and stopped by McAllister’s for lunch.

We saw an Air Force military plane coming in for a landing at the nearby base. It was so close to the interstate!

Then, we continued on our way to Ikea! They were looking for items for their classrooms. In my job position, I don’t really need classroom furniture anymore. I did grab a new bath mat, some containers for my lunch, and some new tongs for the kitchen. Overall, a successful trip!

We arrived back home, and it was time to start getting ready for the week. Ugh! The weekends go by so fast!

And, this is me. Haha!

I’ll be back on Wednesday for a recap of our Spring Break! See ya then!
