**What’s up Wednesday July** {8.2.2023}

It’s the last Wednesday of the month. Well it was supposed to be, but I got my dates mixed up. Haha!

I am linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer and sharing what has been going on with us lately. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.

Settle in ya’ll, it’s a long post. 😉

1. What We Are Eating This Week:

Sunday: We ate at Dad & Moms. She made BBQ Brisket, Broccoli & Cheese Casserole, Baked Beans, and  Carrots.

Monday: Pork Loin, Fried Green Tomatoes & Okra (from the garden this past weekend)

Tuesday: Back 2 School Brinner

Wednesday: Taco Salad/Tacos

Thursday: Leftover Pork Loin

Friday: Leftover Tacos

Saturday: Kitchen’s closed!

2. What I’m Reminiscing About:

Looking back at all our Summer trips and 4th of July gatherings give me all the feels and teary eyed.

Look at these memories from years back.

These were from 2019.

And here is 2020.

Here we are in 2021.

And last year… such sweet memories.

3. What I’m Loving:

I ordered this desktop calendar during Amazon Prime days, and I’m loving it so far. I can easily glance at everything that’s coming up, and I need that in my life. Haha!

I also still love this wireless keyboard and mouse.

4. What We’ve Been Up To:

I started off the month visiting Katy and spending the day with her.

We celebrated the 4th!

We have had fun at the pool many days.

We enjoyed time with friends at the Amusement & Water Park. Such a blast!

I had a great birthday and felt very spoiled!

We enjoyed another beach vacation. Read all about our vacation recap here

This past weekend, we had one last blast at the lake with family.

We had our Open House, and I loved seeing all the little cuties. Addison is coming with me this year, so I’m excited but also a little nervous about this. I know it will be a good thing.

5. What I’m Dreading:

I’m dreading the hustle that comes on with the beginning of the year.

6. What I’m Working On:

I’m working on lots of scheduling and planning.

7. What I’m Excited About:

I am excited about getting into a routine.

8. What I’m Watching/Reading:

I finished The Five- Star Weekend the beginning of this month. I did enjoy it! It wasn’t my favorite Elin Hilderbrand book, but I did love it a lot more than her most recent few.

The Five- Star Weekend

Same Time Next Summer was so cute!! I read her first novel last year and loved it! This one was just as cute! So, if you’re looking for a really cute chick-lit book, this one is it!

Same Time Next Summer

I am currently reading Meet Me at the Lake. It’s really good, and I loved her book Every Summer After, and so far, this one is just as good! I am busy right now with school, but I can’t wait to finish this one!

I’m not watching anything at the moment. I don’t have time. I’d rather be reading. However, I do want to watch the new Sweet Magnolias season!

9. What I’m Listening To:

Not a thing at the moment.

10. What I’m Wearing:

I’ve been mostly wearing t-shirts and school shirts right now.

However, I’ve still been wearing these items below.

Lace Crochet Top / White Shorts / Reef Sandals

And here is the same outfit just with the red top.

I ordered these Corky Wedge Sandals to wear to school, and I’m so glad I did! They are so cute, and the footbed is so soft and spongy. They are going to be great for wearing all day at school. I wore them to my school’s Meet & Greet last week.

And, I’m continuing to wear most of my wardrobe from Jules & James Boutique

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:

Probably sleeping after our first week of school. Haha! Doubtful. I’m sure we will be doing something that will help get our school year off to a good start.

12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:

Addison starts dance next month, so I am excited about getting that started.

13. Favorite Amazon Find:

This product is a little personal, but it has never let me down! I have used this product for years! It leaves smooth, non bumpy skin which is definitely what everyone wants in a shave outcome. It has over 15,000 reviews, so you know it’s gotta be good. 😉

14. What Else Is New:

If you made it this far, thank you! I have nothing else.

Thank you all for stopping by. I hope you have an awesome day!! See you back here on Friday!
