**Friday Favorites** {12.1.2023}

Happy Friday Friends!!! I’m so excited December has arrived! However, I’m also a little worried because that means Christmas is soon! I need to finish my shopping.

Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.

Addison made her Christmas list. Ha! I’m like, don’t you want something else besides a Rubix cube.

And then we had to Christmas hats during dinnertime.

Monday after school, I had a Beauty Barn appointment which is always a favorite. I need my beauty time. 🙂

Tuesday night it was more Christmas cheer during dinner.

I shared about my new garland on my Wednesday’s post, but it’s so good I wanted to share about it again on here.

I just ordered this garland from Vallari Decor on Etsy, and I am so in love. It’s so beautiful and so realistic! It came with little fairy lights. My specific style is the Real Touch Norfolk pine and is currently sold out.  Mine was the 68″ length. Hopefully they will restock.

Tuesday night we had basketball practice. It was one of her teammates birthday. Addison was super excited to get a donut treat.

Wednesday night, we had Christmas dance rehearsal. So, we had to get all dressed up and drive about an hour through traffic. No fun.

However, a stop by one of our favorite Tex Mex restaurants for dinner was definitely a favorite and a highlight from the week.

Another highlight was our good friend Ginny’s Walk of Fame yesterday morning. She’s retiring, and we are going to miss her so much!! She’s so knowledgeable about math! And a great party planner.

We walked Ginny to get her things, and then we were all so sad when she couldn’t get back into the building. Her badge wouldn’t work. 🙁

Last night, we had our Santa picture session. Sadly, Joey was stuck at work and couldn’t get away. So, Santa made it all better with hugs and lots of fun…….. and we added on a second session next week. lol

We also saw Santa Pete blasting Christmas music and shining in all his glory, so that cheered us up as well.

So, I’m doing it, I’m ordering some of these Ultra Mini Ugg boots. I love lots of the colors, but I think I’m going with the black.

If you’re looking for some stocking stuffer ideas, check out this post.

And there’s this….

Wednesday I shared what all we had been up to this past month. If you missed all the fun, check it out here

That’s all for this week and today’s post. Rain is moving in today, and it’s supposed to rain most of the weekend. 🙁 So, it may actually rain out the Christmas parade tonight. I hope you all have a fabulous and festive weekend!!

I am loving your daughter’s sweet (and easy!) Christmas list. One of my sons, when he was near your daughter’s age, often asked for things that didn’t even exist– like a toy turtle that laid eggs that would hatch and then turn back into eggs so he could play with it over and over again. His lists always stumped me– they were certainly creative but difficult to fulfill. LOL
