**Hello Monday** {3.11.2024}

Well, here we are… already back to Monday. The weekends really do fly by. We are still counting down to Spring Break. Only a few weeks to go.

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday, after school, we went to pick up some BBQ to take to Aunt Dot & Uncle Coon, along with the beautiful cupcakes. I snapped a pic of Addison in the little side chair.

Saturday morning, the weather was yuck. Our first soccer game was cancelled. So, we did the normal routine things, around the house, until it was time for me and Addison to go to a baby shower.

It was cowboy theme, and was extra cute.

The girls got to see Grampa and baby Colton. They were thrilled.

We rushed home, Addison got changed because her and Joey had Daddy/Daughter date night at Chick-fil-A. They looked so cute. Addison was excited!

They went off on their way, and I went off to meet up with some of my girl friends at the Mexican restaurant.

Guacamole and drinks, yes please! We laughed so hard!

We left there and went to Starbucks. I snapped a picture of the sunset. It was beautiful!

Meanwhile, Joey and Addison were having the best time.

Sunday morning, there was not much sleeping in. Daylight savings time does not matter around here. We are still up at daylight.

I did get some puppy snuggles.

Joey decided that we would go riding around. We didn’t really have a plan when we started out.

We ended up at Amicalola Falls which is the tallest cascading waterfall easy of the Mississippi River. It’s also the start of the Appalachian trail.

We got out and walked around. Holy Cow the wind was brutal. The gusts were so intense. At one time, Joey’s hat went flying.

We drove to the top of the falls. The views are so beautiful!

We ate a picnic, inside the truck because it was so chilly. Then we headed back toward home.

On the way home, I stopped by the grocery store and got Bree, my work sidekick, some flowers. Her sweet dog baby went to Heaven. She’s so sad, so I wanted to get her some flowers to let her know I’m thinking about her. It’s so hard to lose a fur baby.

I’m starting to prepare for Easter. I can’t believe it’s in a few short weeks! How fun are these pre-stuffed eggs from Amazon! I think they would be awesome for any kid!

Our clocks are definitely all out of whack. We were not ready for bed at normal time last night. I’m sure we will all be dragging this week. I hope you have a great start to your week! See you back on Wednesday!
