Let's Look At...

**Let’s Look At… Best/Worst Gifts We’ve Received** {12.10.2025}

Happy Happy Wednesday friends!! I can’t believe it! Here we are at our last Let’s Look link up of 2025!

Alright, so let’s get to it! On the second Wednesday of every month, I link up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverything. Today, we are talking about the best/worst gifts we’ve ever received.

I’ll start with my BEST gifts I’ve ever received.

I know a lot of these won’t be very sentimental or fun, but they’re practical. And often, we all need practical.

I received this Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum for Christmas a few years back, from my parents, and I haven’t looked back! It still works great, and I seriously use it everyday! The charge is still holding, and it’s so nice to just grab it and use.

Another cleaning device… this iRobot Roomba. I love how you can schedule the cleaning times, and it does it’s own thing. Sometimes it will get stuck, but I feel like it definitely helps to run it and go over the floor while we are at work.

All women should sleep with a silk pillowcase. Joey got me this one a few years ago, and it’s still holding on strong. I just wash it in cold water and hang to dry.

During the winter months, I wear my Ugg boots all the time. I also wear my ugg slippers all the time while in the house. They’re just cozy. And they hold up so well.

These gifts that I received from Addison over the years are my most favorite gifts ever! I know they can never be replaced, and they are so very special to me!

Now, to talk about the Worst gifts… this was hard for me. Honestly, I probably did it to myself. Haha! The infomercials always get me around this time. You know… try this. It’s the best! Your hair/skin/body will be amazing! Bahaha!

So, I add it to my Christmas list, and low and behold, it’s not amazing like it says.

See exhibit below. I asked for it. It doesn’t really work on me. It’s honestly not the gift givers fault. Maybe somewhere out there it works for someone.

I am excited to read your posts!!

And here are all my Let’s Look prompts for the year!

  1. Funny how you mention cleaning devices and I am jealous- ha!! Love the ornaments from Addyson 🙂

  2. We got a vacuum one year for Christmas and it really was one of the BEST gifts ever. My 22-yr-old son asked for a Roomba this year as well as pots and pans – can’t say we didn’t raise a practical kid – ha! The best gifts I get are surprises, but I married into a family that just wants a list and buys from it – that’s not a favorite for me, but I guess then I get what I want, right?

    1. Haha! A practical gift is always the best. I totally understand about wanting surprise gifts but also wanting something that I really want. It’s a thin line. 🙂
