Friday Favorites

**Friday Favorites** {1.30.2026}

TGIF! Even though we had a shortened week, it was all crammed pack. Now I’m ready for some rest.

Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week and last weekend.

Last Friday, we went to watch Blaine play ball. He definitely is a little baller and has mad skills. His team is undefeated.

Saturday we had to change our plans because the weather was supposed to move in that afternoon. So, instead of going to dinner and to celebrate Shannon’s birthday at Top Golf. We changed it to a lunch celebration!

Even though it was freezing, the kids were happy as larks running outside. Meanwhile, the ladies were cozy up inside.

On the way home, we picked up some donuts to get us through the ice/snow weekend.

Sunday morning, we woke up to a little bit of ice. Definitely not as treacherous as they predicted. It was freezing cold.

But it didn’t stop this girl and Milo. They were all about it.

We worked on a STEM experiment making frozen ice bubbles. It was harder than the directions implied.

Poor Giggles was envious of us inside.

We crafted, we worked on Legos, we played with dominoes.

We went and cheered on our Warriors this week in Basketball. My cousin Lacie is one of the Assistant coaches on the opposing team, so my heart was a little pulled between the teams.

Warriors came out with a win in the last second!

I ordered a baked potato from the Transition Academy students, and it was delicious! The potato was huge, and they did an awesome job packing all the toppings. Thank you sweet students!

We have had some family things going on the past few weeks. Someone very close to me passed yesterday. He’s been very sick. Although we are so thankful he is not suffering anymore, and now in the arms of Jesus, we are sad. The next few days/weeks are going to be very tough. We are just cherishing all those good, sweet memories. I don’t know if I will be back here on Monday. It will really just depend on how the weekend goes. I may be spending extra time with my family. I will plan to just see you when I see you.

I appreciate all of you, and I hope you all have a restful weekend.
