**Hello Monday** {9.12.2022}

Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

On Friday, Addison’s class celebrated Grandparent’s day. The kids were all so excited, and the whole program was precious. I’m so glad they do this and invite these special people to celebrate.

So true. Haha!

We love Mrs. Lindsey, her teacher. She’s wonderful!

Meanwhile, at my school, my sweet colleague, Jodi, brought me breakfast!

Friday night, we met Joey’s mom for dinner. Then, we were home for baths/showers and early bed times. This was good because Joey left the house around 2:30. He got a call that his Grandmother was in the hospital, and they called the family in just in case she turned for the worse.

Thankfully, they got her in ICU, and she’s stable right now.

Joey got home from the hospital around 11. Addison and I decided to go to the Farmer’s Market while he was resting. We found lots of goodies, and she even got to play on the playground. She was all smiles after that.

I was in the search for some new running/training shorts. I looked at Dick’s Sporting Goods, but didn’t really love their selection. We ended up at Academy, and I was able to grab a couple pairs.

I had to make a return at Old Navy, then we were on to dinner.

Sunday, Joey went back to visit his Granny in the hospital. Addison and I worked on some things around the house and Mom & Dad came by for a short visit and some play time.

Yesterday evening, we had a sweet 16 party for one of our Church friends daughter. It was on a farm, so we tried to dress the part. 🙂 Addison was a great photographer.

We enjoyed visiting and catching up with lots of friends.

Addison was in heaven with all of the desserts. They had a smore bar, cake, and donuts. She was on a major sugar rush.

The farm and property were beautiful! We enjoyed walking around and petting the animals.

Last night, we got the call that Joey’s Granny passed away. We are very sad, but we are at peace that she is no longer in pain or suffering. We have comfort in knowing that we will see her again some day.

Thanks for stopping by, friends. I’ll see you back here on Wednesday for another little link up.
