**Friday Favorites** {9.9.2022}

Happy Happy Friday, friends! This 4 day work week flew by! I am down for a 3-day weekend every week! 

Per the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing our favorites from the week and last weekend.

Last Friday, Addison wanted Buffalo’s for dinner. So, we headed to get some wings… grilled cheese for her. LOL

Saturday, Joey had a meeting at church. I sent my Old Fashioned Chocolate cake with him. It is so easy and always get rave reviews. 

Addison, Mom, and I decided to have a girl’s day. We did some shopping. A. was loving this one children’s boutique that had this cute, little play area. 

One of our main reasons for going shopping was to go to the Jules & James store that we love to shop at on the App. It was so adorable! We just adored all the things. Addison found something she wanted too. Haha! 😉 

After lots of shopping, we had worked up an appetite. We headed to this amazing restaurant right on the square. It was called The Brown Dog A Charleston Eatery. I promise you… this place was delicious! We wanted to try everything! Every town should have one of these! We started off with “Charleston Caviar”. Some heavenly pimento cheese with bacon jam. Yum! 

Then, Mom & I shared the Fig & Pig sandwich. Also delicious! It had pulled pork, bacon, fig preserves, granny smith apples, and cheddar cheese. All on a baguette. Their hand cut fries were also amazing! I seriously could have tried everything on the menu! If you’re in the area, go here! 

 

After lunch, we were stuffed and enjoyed our long drive back home. 

It was a nice afternoon to take a walk. Addison insisted on taking her wheelbarrow. #sigh 

We were still all stuffed from a big lunch… we decided to just go get ice cream for dinner! 🙂

Sunday, we woke up to rainy weather. It was nice to just sleep in a little bit and have a lazy morning. 

It cleared off a bit after lunch. So, we headed to Lowe’s to grab a few things. We ended up getting some Mums for the front porch. 

We headed to Dick’s to look for Addison some basketball shoes. They had a lot more of a selection than Academy. So, we went ahead and grabbed her some.

We went and ate dinner with my parents Sunday night. 

Monday, it was wonderful to sleep in again. I meal prepped for the week. Addison enjoyed playing. We watched Hocus Pocus. It was a great day! 

Joey ‘s cousin asked him to come look at some things at his house one evening. His son, Trent, had all the questions about the tools in his tool bag. Joey sat and explained all of them to him. 🙂

On Tuesday, I had an appointment after school. I ran into Old Navy and grabbed a few Fall things for Addison before my appointment. 

I wore one of my Jules & James Boutique outfits to school this week. It’s definitely a favorite!  Love these YMI pants in Dark Olive. They’re on sale right now at Amazon! 

I’m loving the look of this shacket from Amazon! The mornings are getting a little cooler around here, so I can feel that I am going to need it soon. 

I ordered Joey one of these Thunderfit rings to wear on our trip in a couple weeks, so he wouldn’t have to take his real ring. It has amazing reviews with over 12,000. If you know anyone in the market, it’s a great price point! 

The picture online kindof makes it look like a tire. Haha! 

Like Joey, I wanted to get a ring to wear on our trip, so I wouldn’t have to take my set. I snagged this set on Amazon. It looks great! Very beautiful in person, and a great price! 

Why does this always happen?
