I’m picking right back up on Thursday morning, in paradise.
After breakfast, we walked down and took a few pictures.
Here’s our nice setup for the day in the Family Preferred area of the beach.
Addison was entertained with her new friend. The ocean was still pristine.
The frozen drinks were still aplenty.
We continued the typical schedule of spending a few hours at the beach, eating some lunch, then heading over to the water park.
We got back to the room to get ready for dinner, and our sweet room keeper had left us a gift.
Every night the buffet had a different food theme. Some nights we ate in one of the restaurants and some nights we went to to the buffet. Thursday night, we went to the buffet and enjoyed Asian food. They always had a sandwich area, salad area, and pasta area.
After dinner, we walked on the beach a bit and Facetimed with Mom & Dad.
We swung back by the room before the evening show, and the night room keeper had tucked Addison’s Hello Kitty in for the night. 🙂 We had nightly turn down service with chocolates. It was a sweet surprise.
Thursday night, the entertainment was Michael Jackson Tribute. I was pumped!!!
Addison got tired, so we just stayed for about 30 minutes then headed back toward the room. She snapped some pics of us. The second pic cracked me up of Joey’s face. Hahaha!
Friday was our last full day. I wanted snap a lot of pictures around the resort and out on the pier. The water again… gorgeous!!
We had breakfast this morning at the Coastal Grill which was an option if you are a preferred guest. I had a breakfast burrito.
Snapped more pictures on the way back to the room to get our swimsuits on.
This sweet server took up with us and brought us a whole plate of fresh fruit. The fruit down there was so much better than the fruit here. I used to love pineapple when I was younger, then it started giving me back heartburn, but not the pineapple down there. It was so amazing, and I still think about it! Haha!
The same sweet server found out it was our last day and brought us another treat! A pina colada in a Pineapple!!! We were so excited!! It really did make our day!
We headed over to the water park, and we finally let Addison go down the red slide. It went fast!
Our last dinner, we went to the Italian restaurant. It was great, and Addison thoroughly enjoyed her spaghetti!

Then it was time for the Entertainment. It was Disney theme, and we loved it! The characters costumes were a little humorous, but they did a great job singing and dancing.
Saturday, our flight was not until the late afternoon. We didn’t need to leave the resort until about 1, so Addison and I headed for a little bit of pool time.
After getting all packed up, we passed off our luggage and headed to grab a bite of lunch before leaving. We didn’t know what we might find at the airport and knew we wouldn’t get back to Atlanta until late.
Our driver picked us up about 1:30, and we had about an hour ride back to the airport in Punta Cana.
And we were wheels up right on time!
We really did have the best time! I love, love, love that Addison was able to go with us!
