**Hello Monday** {5.17.2021}

Hey Everybody! It’s Monday again, and we are definitely counting down the days. Only 1 more Monday. Ten more days of school with students and twelve more days total for me, for the year. We are ready! I know everyone’s year has been a doozy.

Mom/Dad kept Addison Friday night, so we had a grand date night to get gas at Costco (yay! we found gas!) and then to the outlet mall to find Joey some more khaki pants. I know ya’ll are jealous of our wild night events! Ha!

Have you guys had gasoline where you live? It’s been crazy here in Georgia trying to find it.

I did settle in with a glass of wine to wrap up the night. 🙂

Saturday was a super busy day! We had some things to do early Saturday morning. Joey was off to clean the outside of the Church. And, it was recital day! Sweet Emma did the girl’s hair. Thank you, Emma!

When we arrived, at the recital, we saw some of our sweet friends. So, we had to pose and take some pictures.

More of the sweet girls. I loved their costumes this year!

I’m not going to lie. I cried. It was so sweet.

After the recital, we went out to eat for Emily’s birthday! Then, Addison was off to spend the night with Grandma.

Sunday morning, Joey slept in. He’s been working so much. I know he was exhausted. I read some, worked on this blog post, and cooked breakfast. I walked down to check on the garden. Some things are beginning to pop out of the ground.

We picked up Addison from Penny’s house. She felt a little warm and was requesting a nap. She laid down and slept for almost 3 hours. As she napped, I sat in the sun and read. I finally woke her up. She had a fever. 🙁

I gave her some Motrin and hoped it would go away and not spike back up.

We went outside last night and even found a four-leaf clover. Here’s hoping it brings us luck on these last 2 weeks of school.

That’s it for our weekend recap. I hope you guys have a great start to your week!

    Those recital photos are so precious! We had no gas problems here at all but my father had called mid- week to check in since he was having problems in Fla. and had already talked to my sister who was having problems in North Carolina too.
