It’s the last Wednesday of the month. On this day, I link up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I will share a little bit of everything that’s been going on with us right now.
1. What We Are Eating This Week:
With it being Fall break and us having lots of fun around here, I don’t have anything set in stone for dinner most of this week.
Sunday: Roast in crock pot with carrots, hashbrown casserole, green beans, rolls
Monday: Beef with Broccoli and fried rice
Tuesday: Spaghetti
Wednesday- Sunday: Out of Town
2. What I’m Reminiscing About:
This memory popped up from a year ago!
This was such a fun vacation and purely magical! I can’t wait to go back! Hopefully it won’t be 1,000 degrees either.
3. What I’m Loving:
I’m loving being on Fall break this week. Being a teacher, we work hard, but we play hard too. It’s always good to take time for yourself to recharge and spend time with your family and friends.
4. What We’ve Been Up To:
My bestie moved back to GA from Arkansas a few weeks ago. She had twins in July and her oldest daughter is 2 months older than Addison. #destinedtobebesties
On Monday, my Mom, Addison, and I drove the 2 hours to meet the sweet baby girls and also catch up a little bit.
We stopped at Frosted Frog on the way to pick up some chicken salad for our lunch. Addison wanted a picture with the frog.

We had lunch, played, and got in all the baby snuggles and hugs that we could! So good to see these girls! #mypeople

5. What I’m Dreading:
I’m not dreading anything right now. 🙂
6. What I’m Working On:
I’m working on getting ourselves packed…. We are going on a family beach trip soon!
I’m also working on making these Ultimate Sausage balls.
7. What I’m Excited About:
I am super excited all the upcoming Fall activities, the Fall weather, and getting to hopefully wear Fall cozy clothes soon! #fingerscrossed
I am excited about our week off going on right now!
I’m really excited about a girl’s trip next month!! #makingmemories
8. What I’m Watching/Reading:
I haven’t been watching a lot of TV because we are in that really weird transition period where there’s nothing really on. I did finish up Bachelor in Paradise. I’m super excited about the new Bachelor!! #peterthepilot #windmillpeter
I am excited about all the Fall shows starting back up in the next few weeks!

I finally finished the third book in the trio, The Southern Side of Paradise. It was great!
I’m also re-reading Winter in Paradise, because the sequel comes out in October. So, I wanted a refresher. It’s just as good the second time around. I would highly recommend it. I love all Elin Hilderbrand’s books, so I’m super excited about What Happens in Paradise.
9. What I’m Listening To:
I’ve been listening to a lot of Taylor Swift station on Pandora.
10. What I’m Wearing:
I’ve been wearing a lot of the same Wit-and-Wisdom jeans and this top! It’s perfect for Fall!
I want to be wearing sweaters, but it’s just too dang hot!!
11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:
I’m super excited about our plans this weekend!! I’ll be sharing them with you next week, so I won’t be back here for Friday Favorites. I will see you all next week! I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend!

All these WUW posts are reminding me to get back into This Is Us. I think we only ever watched the first season and then got sidetracked by Grey’s Anatomy. Ooops.

We’re heading to Disney just after the new year and since we haven’t been in about… 6 years I am so excited to be going back!
