**Weekend Recap** {3.14.2022}
Hey Hey Everybody!! How are you all on this lovely Monday? How was everyone’s weekend? We had a lot of things planned, and they all got cancelled real fast……because……..
We woke up to Teen temperatures and a little snow. So, our first soccer game was cancelled. The wind was blowing like crazy too!! It felt like the arctic out there. Crazy because earlier last week it was short sleeve weather.
Joey had planned to go shoot clays with the guys in the afternoon, but that got cancelled too.
So, we settled for a lot of indoor play time. And of course the usual cleaning, organizing and laundry.
We finally got around to making our Winter cookies. Which Addison was so happy about.
Joey worked in the basement on some things then came upstairs to take a little nap. I thought A was napping, but nope, she was just pretending. 😉
Saturday afternoon, we braved the wind and ran to the grocery store to grab a few things. Hollywood was loving pushing the cart.
We ran home and unloaded our groceries then headed back out to grab some Mexican food. Fajitas and Cheese dip for the win!
Joey built a fire and we snuggled while watching a movie Saturday night. Our perfect way to end the day. Hopefully it’s our last fire for the year, and the weather will turn to Spring.
Sunday morning, the temperatures were still frigid. We did sleep in a little bit despite Daylight Saving Time.
In the afternoon, it had warmed up into the 40s. Joey went outside to do some measuring and configuring. We are thinking about building an outdoor patio area with fireplace and outdoor kitchen out here. So, he was in his element.
I went to the camper and started cleaning and preparing for our upcoming camping trip. I hadn’t been inside since October, so it definitely needed a little cleaning.
Last night, we met Joey’s Dad and stepmom for dinner. We had lots of laughs and enjoyed each other’s company.
Then it was the usual getting ready for school and work routines once we got home.
Wednesday is a fun link up, so come on back to check that out. It should be hilarious. 😉
Have a wonderful start to your week!

You should do a post about your camper. The inside looks so beautiful and I’d love to see more.
