**Hello Monday** {1.15.2024}
We had a rainy Friday night, so we stayed in. I cooked lasagna with salad and bread. We had an early bedtime because we had to leave the house at 7:15, Saturday morning, for A’s bball game.
This was the first game back of the new year. We have been off almost a month. I think most of the girls were asleep. They didn’t wake up until about half time.
We lost 8-10. And, we mostly lost against the refs. But, what do you do.
We left the game and headed to Waffle House for a breakfast for champions. The waitress was really sweet and gave Addison a heart to complete for anything she loves.
It was a cold, sunny day. It didn’t get out of the 40s. Joey and Addison did go outside to play some soccer and basketball. He also trimmed some of the bushes.
I stayed inside and cleaned. I also took down the garland from Christmas, on our banister.
Joey celebrates a birthday this week. So, since we have such a busy week, we took him out Saturday night. He decided he wanted Henry’s Louisiana Grill. It was delicious, as always.
Sunday, we slept in a little bit. We woke up to a cold 23 degrees.
We just moseyed around. Joey did go running around 9. I worked out a little, and did some more laundry and picking up.
We had an appointment, that afternoon, to go look at puppies.
Everyone was tense. Haha! The first one to look at was a Cavalier Bichon mix, a Cavachon. He was sweet and mostly calm.
The next one was Joey’s choice, Shae the Springer Spaniel Poodle mix, a Springer Doodle. She was a bit larger, and more what Joey wanted for running with. She was also verrrrry hyper!! Ha! She was all over us. But sweet also.
We decided maybe Shae wasn’t ideal for all of us. So, sadly, we told her goodbye. Addison shed a few tears. We brought out a brother to the one we saw earlier and let them play together He was a tad bigger. And a bit more hyper.
All in all, it was a really hard decision. We tried to contemplate all the scenarios. We eventually settled on the first Cavachon. We are going to name him Milo. At least we think we are. That’s been another hard decision. Haha!
He was so sweet on the way home and slept most of the way home. Addison is smitten.
I am not too eager to do nightly outings to the bathroom. 😉
I wore this yesterday, and it was perfect for being cozy and for being warm. The Amazon pullover is a perfect length to wear with leggings. I love the Blue/Green color. The material is so soft and warm, but not restrictive at all. So cute for these winter months!
Amazon Pullover / Lululemon Align Leggings / Ugg Ultra Minis
This Amazon Pullover is the one I shared last weekend. I love it as well! I got so many compliments when I wore it the other day.
That’s all for our weekend. It was a fun one. Ya’ll think of me, when I’m getting up, like a newborn mother. Haha!
I will see you back here on Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

Both of those pullover tops are so cute! I love the cream colored one. Waffle House is my five year olds favorite place to eat! We go almost every Thursday when I take him to speech therapy.

Milo is so adorable! It’s a long time since I’ve had an early wake-up call for sports (in our case, heading to the barn to get ready for a horse show) but I do miss it…sometimes! The last few days the temperature have been in the 20s so I’ve been thankful to be able to sleep in and be cozy in bed.

Yes!!It’s so hard to get up when it’s so cold. I can appreciate time to stay in bed and stay warm as long as possible. 🙂

Your new puppy looks just like my Milo! We have a cavapoo which looks very similar to yours. Have fun with all of the puppy stuff. I had forgotten all of that middle of the night craziness and I am SO GLAD that we are out of all of that now!!!

Awww… really. That’s awesome! I am eager to see what he will look like when he gets bigger. And, yes, I’m ready for all this nighttime stuff to end. 😉
