Today, I’m sharing a little bit about our weekend. It’s been a great one and easy-going. Just the kind we like.Â
Today begins Amazon Prime days, which I’m super excited about. I’m hoping they have some good things I need want. 😉
We started off our Friday finishing up swim lessons with Mrs. B. Although she was still hesitant about letting go, she did well (for a 2 year old). She’s kicking in the bathtub and using her swimmy lips when she goes underwater, so I’m taking that as a win!Â
We attempted to nap after swim lessons, but it wasn’t happening. So, we made our way to our friend’s swimming birthday party. So much fun was had! It was hot as all get out, but the pool made it much cooler.Â
She enjoyed staying in the splash pad, kiddie pool area. I was totally fine with that.Â
We had a cake break.Â
Back to the pool to cool off.Â
Saturday morning, I cleaned and did some laundry. Then I went to do some back to school shopping at Target and Wal-mart. I got the bulk of my things bought.Â
Saturday night, Mom and Dad took me out to eat for my birthday. We went to the Orient Express which is a cute Asian restaurant that is in an old train car. It’s really fun! It has three rooms, and we sat in the Hibachi room.Â
While we were eating, the rain arrived. It was pouring down by the time we left. And of course, we left the umbrella’s in the car.Â

We had a lot of green beans, so I went over to my parent’s house to have Mom help me with canning them. I’m scared of the pressure cooker, so Mom said she’d help me out. Ha! We got 6 quarts, so that will be good.Â
I hope you all have a great day! We are off to sign up for dance classes this morning, then if the weather is nice, you can probably find us at the pool.Â
