Happy Monday!!! How was your weekend? Ours was full of rest and a lot of quiet time. We have been out of internet all weekend which since we stream TV, that means no TV either. To say I despise Windstream internet, would be an understatement. They said they put the work order in, and we should have someone out on the 20th. The 20th?!?!? WTH!!!
I try to be positive about most things, but really!?? Anyway, the positive that came out of it was we had a lot of quiet together time, which was just what we needed.
Addison’s sweet teachers have a private FB page just for her class. They post pictures throughout the week, and I just love it! This was Addison doing some dot art and being the Calendar helper. #love
Friday night, Addison had a sleepover with Joey’s Dad and Granna. She always has the best time there. While she was there, me and Joey had a fun date night that included eating Mexican food and a Costco run. My kind of dream.
He took a selfie. Haha! Love my handsome hubs.
Here are some pics of Addison’s fun at Grampa and Granna’s.
Since we had no internet, we picked her up from his Dad’s around lunch. We rode around and stopped at a cute, little general store that had ice cream! While we were there it was pouring rain…we got drenched getting in and out of the car.
We took off from there and just went riding in the mountains enjoying the view.
Sunday morning, we did some Bible reading and quiet time. We did some sand building. Then, we enjoyed some time in the pool.
We love this sand and sand tools set from Amazon. It doesn’t make a mess at all. The tray comes in a 4 pack. I can’t find our exact one, but this one is very similar.
Addison enjoyed her ring pop. 😉
We took a nap and went to my Mom and Dad’s for some hot dogs and internet time to write this blog post. 😉
That’s it for today…. if you missed my post on Friday. Head there now!! I’m doing a giveaway!!! Go check it out! I’ll see you back here on Wednesday! Hopefully our internet will be back by then. 🙂
