Weekend Recap* Last Weekend in June*

Can you believe it’s July? I mean, where did June go? It flew by….

We had an awesome past three days with lots of friends and family time. It’s the best kind of weekend! <3

I started off early Friday morning slicing and canning dill pickles. I do NOT like cucumbers at all. So, I will not be testing out the final product. #cucumbersaregross #nopicklejuice

After I got all the pots and dishes cleaned up, we got ready to run some errands and meet a great friend for lunch. #girlsonly

We met the girls at a local family-owned sandwich shop that is currently for sale. We are hoping to visit it as many times as possible before it sells/changes owners.

Love these friends!

We made a Target run after lunch. #targetrunanddone

That afternoon we played outside for a little bit. It was hot! So, we didn’t stay outside long. #humidityisrough #pantsareoverrated

We met some good friends that night for dinner. We hadn’t seen them in a while, so it was due. We had so much fun! The kids were well entertained. #quesoislife

Saturday, we had a really laid back kind of morning and day. I just cleaned and straightened some things up while Joey and Addison watched a movie and napped.

That evening we were celebrating his Dad’s birthday. We went to their house and had a great time!

Look at these sweet cousins.

They played with bubble wands that made some awesome bubbles.

They played corn hole.

We made our way inside to eat and play with some puzzles.

The girls rocked some. It was a wonderful night celebrating Joey’s dad.

Sunday, I was apparently a slacker and forgot to take any pictures. That must mean we were having so much fun!

We went to visit Joey’s Grandpa. He’s in his 90’s, and it’s always so sweet going to visit. After we visited for a little bit, we left and went to visit my Papa. He’s 89, and we always have the best time playing. This time, they played the piano and hide-and-seek.

We went to eat dinner with my Mom and Dad at their house. She often cooks for us for Sunday dinner. Cubed steak, hashbrown casserole, green beans, and roasted cauliflower were on the main course menu. We had apple pie and ice cream for dessert. As always, it did not disappoint.

We are hoping to take it easy today. Other than going to check on/work in the garden and going to the grocery store, we hope we can spend some time lazing at home today. I hope you all have a wonderful week. See you on Wednesday!
