Weekend Recap {8.12.19}

Hey guys! Can you believe it’s already Monday? Where does the weekend go? 🙁

We had a great one! I’m sharing a little of our fun here!

My friend Shannon asked me if I was available for a girls night. I was like heck yea…. I needed one. So, I called a few girl friends, and we headed to one of my favorite, fun restaurants, Tin Lizzy’s. Their drinks and queso are amazing!! We had so much fun catching up. We laughed so hard that my cheeks hurt.

We left there and weren’t quite ready to head home. So, we headed to Krispy Kreme. Yes! Hot donuts for the win!

Saturday morning, we just stayed around the house. I cleaned and did laundry. I vacuumed the car and Joey worked outside and washed the vehicles. Addison just played, and I tried cleaning up her messes as fast as she made them.

After Addison’s nap, just us girls headed shopping. Our first stop was Old Navy. They were having a great sale! I got her a cute pair of sandals and a couple tops. It wasn’t that crowded but the line was extra long. We left there and headed to Learning Express. They had their floor puzzles Buy One, Get One Free, so we picked up two of those. We made a run to Costco after that. It wasn’t too busy which was great news for us!

We left Costco and met Joey for dinner at Brooklyn Joe’s. Pizza for the win! Addison’s loves her some pizza!

Our last two stops for the evening were Target and Hobby Lobby. I had to get more things for school. It never stops. My wallet agrees! Haha!

Addison woke up bright and early Sunday morning and was ready for puzzle time!

We can’t ever catch my Papa home… he’s a busy man for 89. We called him and thankfully he and Jojo were going to be home! He always loves seeing Addison, and they are always so precious with her.

We had some play time Sunday afternoon…. It was very hot and humid! We didn’t stay outside long.

We went to my Mom and Dad’s for dinner. Addison had fun playing in the sand. This stuff really is the greatest. It doesn’t make a mess. I don’t think Brookstone sells it anymore. I found some on Amazon, but it does not have free shipping.
